Hey bud, yeah movement so easy with BSB I guess future iterations could only improve it further if they increase fov etc... base station on my desk on front, so not ideal really. Need to fix it above monitor on the wall.
great video hes actually got a pair of 20mm m39 cannons..only the soviets got them epic 30mm (your thinking flanker cannons!) bomber intercept by far my favorite mission to do all my testing and flying on. ive got my reverb g2 for now..
Hey mate, there Sundara's use to listen to a lot of music. Their prop not ideal match with the BSB but I love them. The heat, seems fine only on the odd occasion do I really notice it but I'm going to start playing more attention to when/why.
@@Gookaduke I did a complete 180. I've had two neck surgeries in the last 5 years. I wanted a bit less weight. I was so disappointed in the BSB with FOV and the fitment was off, went back and forth with their support (which is awesome), but just couldn't get it right so I returned it.....and got a Crystal. First headset I've ever said WOW when I first sat in DCS Apache. I got a top strap and a counterweight and have had no problems....and I put the hours on it for sure. I also fly the 18, Harrier, F15e. and the increased vertical FOV does mean you don't move your head as much...imho the reduced FOV in both the vertical/horizontal cancels out any increase in mobility, which you will notice in the Crystal.
Ah ok that's really interesting. My only frame of reference was coming from a screen which I just could'nt deal with during combat, so to me this is night and day. Larger FOV can only be a positive though so would love to see what it's like some time. Maybe if the channel gets big enough pimax will send me one to try lol.
Last I heard (back in January) was it'd be shipping in April, so fingers crossed. How long did yours take to arrive, from time of order? I can still use VR through my Vive, but it's so relatively big & heavy, it's not great for long sessions. Not to mention the low-res. Can't wait for my BSB...
@@Gookaduke 4090 you lucky bugger. I’m seriously tempted to get one but the price my word. I know I could rent one for 165 per month over 6 months. How is it in the 4090 compared to other cards. I have a varjo aero but wish I had gone for the beyond hmd due to its light form as I’m mostly a dogfighter.

I found the vertical FOV on the BSB to be lacking for dogfighting. In the Apache, you can even see the whole heading tape in the IHADSS
Yeah, I guess a better FOV would mean your not snapping your head round as much meaning less fatigue. What do you use/prefer?
