- One thing you'll notice about a lot of the new souvenir skins added to CSGO by the PGL Stockholm major is that they're cheap. A lot cheaper than normal skins. But why?

Functionally tho, you can just scrape the stickers and have the normal version of the skin. Plus with the low price, they're more accessible to low-ish spenders, i like this.

I like that these souvenirs are easier to get and cheaper. I really wanted a p90 run and hide but they were too expensive since people wanted to trade them up. Now i could actually afford many new nice skins! :)

Regular one for sure will go up. Souvenir will probably drop since you cant trade it up

It's actually so great, I absolutely love some of the purples but their prices are so inflated by the tradeup contracts because people only care about the covert
they are cheap because you cannot use them in a trade-up contract, therefore they are useless, there, saved everyone a minute lol

i love that this happens got myself a nice glock pink ddpatt for less than $10 nzd while getting some nice gold stickers wouldve never payed $50 for the normal version

souvenirs cant be used in tradeups, thats why they tend to be cheaper

the reds are what people go for but mainly for fn or raare patterns like awp desert hydra people want low float fn or the battle scarred with black scope.not all reds are good

its a nice skin so its value comes from that, souvenir is rarer and more desirable than normal skins, some skins are pretty bad but they are still expensive because you can trade them up, you cant with souvenirs and thus they will be cheaper than the normal version
