I’m pretty sure the button you couldn’t figure out means if you want the inside lights to turn on when you open your door or turn you car off before getting out, to help you see all the things you need to grab and take with you

I’m kinda shocked your folks encouraged a used luxury car vs new - especially a previous rental. People treat those rough, but hopefully it came with an extended warranty because those parts aren’t cheap to replace and the service is expensive.
