Alfonso analyses the effects of writing electronically with the devices that we use every day. He explains the benefits of writing by hand and its effect on intellectual stimulation and the development of the brain.
A first year medical student at the UMU (University of Murcia), Alfonso was born in Cartagena, Spain in 1996. He completed his baccalaureate in Health Sciences in Sangonera la Verde (Murcia), having won first prize in the Olimpiada Nacional de Estadistica 2014. He participated in the first 'Call of Future', a high performance exam preparation programme at the European University of Madrid. He was a finalist in the qualification stages of the Becas Europa programme at UEV and placed 14th in the Premios Extraordinarios de Bachillerato Regionales 2013/14.
Pursuing the premise of 'mens sana in corpore sano', once in a while he throws a racquet into his bag to play tennis. He also enjoys basketball, football and athletics... and being positive.
