Hello everyone! I hope you all feel inspired to maintain a home you love. The cleaning schedule I created can hopefully be helpful for you.

I enjoyed this. I like that it's like zones by the day instead of by the week, then you get the hose mostly covered each week. I can never stick to a routine though . I wish I could but it seems like life always gets in the way. I will just keep trying .
I think breaking it down by day helps, especially on those days when you cannot get the area cleaned that you have on your schedule. You feel like you can just pick back up the next day and start afresh in a new area. Hope you can figure a routine out for your home:)

I have a routine/schedule as well. Mine isn’t so much room by room. Mondays, I dust and wash sheets. Tuesday is grocery shopping (38 miles each way). Wednesdays, clean the bathrooms and wash towels. Fridays- vacuuming, mop floors and do clothing laundry. I do a “quick clean” of the bathrooms daily wiping surfaces and the toilets as well as keeping the kitchen clean by wiping things off each time I do dishes and sweeping the floor after dinner dishes. Of course there are other things done at those deep clean times like washing windows and mirrors. I think keeping things tidy all the time and doing little “quick cleans” helps the deep cleaning days much easier. I also bless myself with grace and allow for flexibility because sickness, appointments, fellowship opportunities come about. Routine is a gift we give ourselves to make life easier. I’m blessed with a husband who helps as well. (Although he is missing the “organizational gene” 😂)
Those quick cleans really do help with the overall maintenance of our homes.
