    Thanks for this. In 2015 I stayed at Lower Sabie, Skukuza, Tamboti and Pretoriuskop. I agree with your ratings for them, I loved Tamboti but the others were great.
    I found the staff everywhere really friendly and helpful. I saw other visitors who thought they were Kings and Queens of the world and staff reacted as you'd expect.
    Prices in the park were surprisingly good, I too thought being a monopoly would mean sky high prices.
    Sanparks is great.

      Its Sky High for us South Africans in our own Parks but if you have the Almighty Dollar then its cheap

      @@Mr09260 Oh that's a shame. I got so discouraged in Kenya where everything was priced for wealthy Americans - which I'm definitely not. However, Kenya has significant discount rates for it's own citizens.

    You missed one of the most beautiful camps; Olifants.

    Very insightful. I will download and use this video as reference. Just one question, can a normal SUV get to most of the campsites or does one need a 4x4?

    • @markkate3210
      @markkate3210 Před 4 lety

      Thato Ngwenya you only need a normal car. A 4x4 is not necessary. Most of the roads are sealed and the dirt roads are in good condition. Hope this helps. Mark

    • @markkate3210
      @markkate3210 Před 4 lety

      A normal SUV is perfectly fine. You do not need a 4x4. If you need more information on how to plan for your trip, we have covered nearly everything we can think of for first-time visitors here: vagrantsoftheworld.com/guide-to-kruger-self-drive-safari/
      Enjoy your time in Kruger.

    This looks amazing! I enjoy seeing the world through another person's point of view, especially South Africa! I've never been before, but maybe one day! Would you recommend it for a solo traveller? Btw I subbed! I would love if you could send back some love too if you like :)
