Finally someone who checks with the trade trackers before saying the nonsense I have been hearing. We must cut Bonav because of our cap if we want to sign any of our free agents.
Did I miss the part where we have suggested moves in this pod ? Seems like a run in back scenario and use picks.
Awesome job (again) by Jeremy. What’s his all Cap & No Cap Dream Team based on best value contracts in league today? Clearly Brunson would make the squad who else? Caruso? Would love to see it in a CorNCDT bonus slide on an upcoming episode.

Don't the Knicks have like 3 trade exceptions?
The Knicks system seems like it has a magic formula to raise the value of centers. I’d try to replace IHart with a cheap player and roll the dice on working that magic again.
Way too risky IMHO unless part of that magic formula is having a training staff that can keep Mitch on the court all year…which is why I’d rather re-sign I-Hart and trade Mitch/replace him with a cheap player or draft pick if you’re letting go of one.
why no mention of Mikal Bridges for the star hunt segment?
Is he really a star tho? I'd definitely want him depending on the cost, but the Knicks and Nets don't make deals
@@TheFrede2300 yeah I wouldn’t call him a “star” but I believe adding him makes us into as good contenders as the Celtics. Bojan and lots of firsts could get it done, I’d overpay because I really believe the trade would give us as good a shot at a ring as any other team so why not make it

I know OG is like 98% gonna stay..but his 30 games a season for 30+ mil a year doesn't sit well (and yes I know it's not MY money). I'd like i-Hart to stay, I think he's more valuable than OG in terms of availability and eventual overall impact (cuz he actually stays on the court!). Either way, LGK!
OG is head & shoulders more valuable than Ihart. Ihart wasn't the same player when the physicality was ratcheted up. Look at his #'s B4 the all star break. And after including the playoffs.
The reason we traded for Og is because Mitch went down and we were getting abused in the paint every game after that. IHart is a super solid big but he is limited athletically when compared to other elite wings and bigs.
Paul George? We were interested last year and CAA guy, are we not in on him?
cause he is old, plays half a season and did nothing in the playoffs this go round. also, would cost too much
Saddiq Bey in that 12mil slot could work. Knicks had interest in him last season and he’s a nova guy 🤷
If the Knicks want him, the 12 mil would do it. I don't think anybody is going to offer him the full 12.
Nobody is offering Saddiq 12 million coming off of a torn ACL

IHart to the Magic makes the most sense & would be fun passing to Paolo
I wouldnt mind losing IHart, I would ONLY use him in the reg.season to rest Mitchy for the playoffs where Mitchy was a difference maker against Embiid & IHart was getting burned in both rounds against the bigger elite 5's
Yeah ok. Mitch has less to offer. And the biggest difference is health. This is his 3rd season missing alot of games. He can't pass he can't shoot. Hartenstein was hurt and he makes our offense better
@@WHG369 re-read my msg my guy, I said IHart is best used to keep Mitch Healthy which makes your comment about missing games meaningless & IHart was getting burned by Embiid,M.Turner & Siakam where we only won against the 76ers because Mitchy shut down Embiid. ALSOOOO IHart's offense #'s dropped off in the playoffs - He's not good against the bigger elite C's & PF's
Mitch Robinson is the worst offensive player in the NBA. Low basketball and actual IQ. His go to offensive move is getting an offensive rebound, getting fouled, and missing both free throws badly. iHart is a 15 million+ player on the open market. Mitch is a vet minimum type guy. Most teams would rather have Drummond or Plumlee. That said, I hope the Knicks keep both...but of course iHart should get more minutes.
