Nephi Sees the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ | 1 Nephi 13-14

- An angel shows Nephi the temptations of the devil and the peril of unbelief among the nations. The angel shows Nephi the Biblical record of the Jews and the coming forth of the Book of Mormon.
1 And it came to pass that the angel spake unto me, saying: Look! And I looked and beheld many nations and kingdoms.
2 And the angel said unto me: What beholdest thou? And I said: I behold many nations and kingdoms.
3 And he said unto me: These are the nations and kingdoms of the Gentiles.
4 And it came to pass that I saw among the nations of the Gentiles the formation of a great church.
5 And the angel said unto me: Behold the formation of a church which is most abominable above all other churches, which slayeth the saints of God, yea, and tortureth them and bindeth them down, and yoketh them with a yoke of iron, and bringeth them down into captivity.
6 And it came to pass that I beheld this great and abominable church; and I saw the devil that he was the founder of it.
7 And I also saw gold, and silver, and silks, and scarlets, and fine-twined linen, and all manner of precious clothing; and I saw many harlots.
8 And the angel spake unto me, saying: Behold the gold, and the silver, and the silks, and the scarlets, and the fine-twined linen, and the precious clothing, and the harlots, are the desires of this great and abominable church.
9 And also for the praise of the world do they destroy the saints of God, and bring them down into captivity.
10 And it came to pass that I looked and beheld many waters; and they divided the Gentiles from the seed of my brethren.
11 And it came to pass that the angel said unto me: Behold the wrath of God is upon the seed of thy brethren.
12 And I looked and beheld a man among the Gentiles, who was separated from the seed of my brethren by the many waters; and I beheld the Spirit of God, that it came down and wrought upon the man; and he went forth upon the many waters, even unto the seed of my brethren, who were in the promised land.
13 And it came to pass that I beheld the Spirit of God, that it wrought upon other Gentiles; and they went forth out of captivity, upon the many waters.
14 And it came to pass that I beheld many multitudes of the Gentiles upon the land of promise; and I beheld the wrath of God, that it was upon the seed of my brethren; and they were scattered before the Gentiles and were smitten.
15 And I beheld the Spirit of the Lord, that it was upon the Gentiles, and they did prosper and obtain the land for their inheritance; and I beheld that they were white, and exceedingly fair and beautiful, like unto my people before they were slain.
16 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld that the Gentiles who had gone forth out of captivity did humble themselves before the Lord; and the power of the Lord was with them.
17 And I beheld that their mother Gentiles were gathered together upon the waters, and upon the land also, to battle against them.
18 And I beheld that the power of God was with them, and also that the wrath of God was upon all those that were gathered together against them to battle.
19 And I, Nephi, beheld that the Gentiles that had gone out of captivity were delivered by the power of God out of the hands of all other nations.
20 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld that they did prosper in the land; and I beheld a book, and it was carried forth among them.
21 And the angel said unto me: Knowest thou the meaning of the book?
22 And I said unto him: I know not.
23 And he said: Behold it proceedeth out of the mouth of a Jew. And I, Nephi, beheld it; and he said unto me: The book that thou beholdest is a record of the Jews, which contains the covenants of the Lord, which he hath made unto the house of Israel; and it also containeth many of the prophecies of the holy prophets; and it is a record like unto the engravings which are upon the plates of brass, save there are not so many; nevertheless, they contain the covenants of the Lord, which he hath made unto the house of Israel; wherefore, they are of great worth unto the Gentiles.
24 And the angel of the Lord said unto me: Thou hast beheld that the book proceeded forth from the mouth of a Jew; and when it proceeded forth from the mouth of a Jew it contained the fulness of the gospel of the Lord, of whom the twelve apostles bear record; and they bear record according to the truth which is in the Lamb of God.
25 Wherefore, these things go forth from the Jews in purity unto the Gentiles, according to the truth which is in God.
26 And after they go forth by the hand of the twelve apostles of the Lamb, from the Jews unto the Gentiles, thou seest the formation of that great and abominable church, which is most abominable above all other churches; for behold, they have taken away from the gospel of the Lamb many parts which are plain and most precious; and also many covenants of the Lord have they taken away.

To me the Book of Mormon does clarify the Saviour s Gospel so well. The Lord has witnessed to me many times it's truthfulness by the Holy Ghost. Praise be to God. 🙏😊❤️

Interesting new adaptation!
As excited as I am about these new videos, particularly the ones about Christ's ministry in the Americas, I am a bit disappointed you didn't cover other important events, like Alma the Younger's confronting Korihor, the war chapters, Nephi (the father of Nephi, who appears in the Christ-centered videos) and his ministry, and Samuel the Lamanite's teachings and prophecies. These are only a few of the things I would have liked to see.

The church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints
I didn't have to read the book of Mormon to understand it was true and the work of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
No , as a child I be a witness of the testimonies and teachings of witnesses testifying about the words and Prophets
teachings.
I also feel the same way about the book of Bible.
The power of Prophecy to Personal Revelation by the authority , is by reading both the book of Mormon and Bible.
Repenting be baptized for the remission of sin , by those in Authority the father the Son and holy Ghost and the laying on of hands for the gift of the holy Ghost to membership.
The simple and plain things be restored by baptism and by the laying on of hands , to fulfillment the simple and plain things by the work and by blessings and opportunities to come forth out of the words to mind the thinking and to write the inspiration of the thoughts by the holy Ghost the way the life the light lived to follow Jesus Christ.
Due time is by both sides the veil to raise up a seer.
Joseph Smith , to seal the work by testimony to faith the work shown.
The Power that be to unfold before you as the scriptures do be powerful to quicken the mind to , the people that lived it and by thoes to come out of the good , and be by both sides the veil in moving forward now.
The work and words be alive in the dust and the spirit all things that speak to spirit the dwelling of the God head to , be done by building Zion and by the fall.
The old can witness to the new and new with the old , and come by the way , the creation is to , be now family together again and go by the way of the earth family together again.
The Vision to the spirit to see , to the work as done now before the world as Nephi be shown.
The end to the beginning that is by the plain and simple things that come to phases and seasons a time for all.
The end of heaven to be on earth , earth the same , to move by the power to do so the Resurrection and move forward unto heaven on earth.
The authority to be to Priesthood the plain and simple things that be restored to the house and by the work to be by order in doing so.
The fullness of the gospel the Jew have to now the meridian together and be by the understanding of why and now.
I love the fullness of the gospel the Jew , and Gentile have to all the house of Israel.
Both sides the veil that live forever to believe on Jesus Christ name and by the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints the last dispensation to family living forever.
To witness the same experience without having a pre conceived thoughts be powerful , as I read for the first time the places iv been to be as Jesus Christ teach , to all of his creations to the ends of heaven and earth without no end endless.
Zion , the new Jerusalem built opposition in all things and by another testament of Jesus Christ.
The way the life the truth the law the light the first and last , making the last firts.
My blessings be poured out of heaven more than I can receive and unto Jesus is Christ the Eternal God he receives them all.
