They were my favorite band of the 70s! Lydia still has "the voice" even after all these yrs!! 🎶💖
Been a Cold Blood devotee since the early days. Just love Lydia Pense!
Lydia can still bring it after all these years. Powerful voice.
One of the best of the second tier bands from the late '60's Bay Area scene. Along the lines of other horn based bands like Tower of Power and The Sons Of Champlin. I've had their first two LP's since they were originally released in 1969 and 1971 and I still pull them out of the stacks occasionally to remind myself of how good they were...and are.
Great Bay Area band !!!Lydia is amazing as well!!!!
One of my favorite bands. I have all their albums.
❤️🎼🎤🎸🎷🎺🎹🥁They still got it❤️
I remember seeing Cold Blood at the Coconut Grove in Santa Cruz with Sandy Mckee , the funkiest drummer I'd ever seen. His facial expressions said it all!! Second best band, TOP!
Smoking solo Steve!!! I saw you guys live at Sculler's in Cambridge MA and chatted with you from a side table for a bit - you guys rock - really tight. Always been one of my favorite bands.
Monroe Park Richmond Va. Early Seventies.....even got my pic in the paper listening to this concert under the loving arm of my sweetheart. GREAT Concert.
Rest in Paradise, Rich Armstrong (Trumpet) 🙏🙏🙏
Happy Birthday Lydia !!!
You rock miss lydia love u
Great song great band...! Kudos to all the band members 👍
wow sounds so great, saw them live multiple times back in the early 70's and always thought they were just a tiny step above all the other "horn" bands on the scene at the time, mostly because Lydia's vocals were off the charts. Still sounding great here!!
I was privileged to be in the audience at the Fillmore, Winterland etc
Hey Dan, I was probably dancing next to you at the Fillmore eating my apple smokin a doob 😊
I have this just on Cd, LYDIA and Cold blood need to make one dvd for us loyals!
Saw Cold Blood at the Odyssey Club in Colorado Springs 1971. LYDIA was fantastic!
12 minutes of 10 musicians kicking a$$
Seen them at the Fillmore😊 and another of other venues around the Bay area. FRENCHIES....
Trumpet player phenomenal!! Rich Jones?
I remember buying that first album and then Chicago’s first album came out..CTA. I would play Cold Bloods album and comment…..this is like Janice Joplin/ Chicago collaboration!!
Unique use of a Wah Wah pedal on a horn.
Classic!
Her Rendition of Your Good Thing by the great Mabel John is a killer the backup vocal on that cut the Pointer Sisters check it out on the Tube.
I remember seeing Cold Blood at Frenchys and the Pointer Sisters back up ! Now that was a mind blower!
Monroe Park.... Eggcreme Festival Circa 1968 Fantastic!! ( May have been 1969)
Jammin'!
Thank you for continuing to use a Hammond instead of an electronic keyboard (well, I see him playing keys in the back now). I've loved this band since '71. I purchased "First Taste of Sin," was blown away, and went back to pick up the first two albums. By the way, can I get the final album from the classic lineup on digital? It was on CBS Records, titled "Cold Blood," and I still have the vinyl LP. I have the rest of the catalog on CD, but can't find a digital release of that recording. Any help would be appreciated.

Flute player hogged the intro. Didn't even provide a melodic cue for Lydia to come in. LOL
