Ever Grateful, Ever True
Great stuff! Big win and the Boilermakers with a huge rebound margin. Grambling did shoot a lot in the interior, and your observations proved true in the Purdue game. On to Sunday.
Ha, before I found this channel I was blissfully unaware of how little I knew about the game.
Thanks for helping a fan understand the nuance!
That means a lot, glad you enjoy!
Good work as always
Thanks!
Let's go Grambling. We got this.
Nice breakdown. Purdue’s poise and aggressiveness both on O and D will be interesting to see against these guys. Purdue has not had the “attitude” to dominate of late, so will be interesting to see if they can do that. Of course, it’s not clear whether Braden Smith or Zach will be 100%. Both need to be darn near for Purdue to go deep.
Paint said Smith is fine.
Your comment about attitude is exactly right. A lot of times a team takes on the personality of the coach. Painter (God love him) is a great Xs and Os guy, but pretty laid back....maybe too laid back. I'm hoping Smith's attitude rubs off on the rest of the team during tournament play because we need it!
@@BoilerBall3094 He has to say that.
@@ski3435 Couldn't agree more. Painter by nature is not emotional/ fiery, but teams need that in addition to the "system" Painter wants his guys to play. Discipline is important, but intensity is also needed. Players seem to have the potential (Smith, Edey, Gillis, Jones) to go full-out, but I think Painter pulls them back. Not sure he lets them learn how to play "balls out" when needed, without losing discipline or fundamentals. I think they'll need to play that way at least at times to get to Final 4 and beyond.
Grambling ❤❤❤, take em down
Let's hope the Boilers have worked on breaking the press. I think we'll see it a lot until we get some easy buckets off of it.
Do Kansas vs Gonzaga please
