I’m disgusted that Mackenzie literally had to grow up with a mindset thinking that she would never be as good as Maddie and to me that’s all Abbys fault.
Can I please say something: Melissa wasn't the only mother with two daughters on the team. Kelly did too and Kelly never once displayed a lack of empathy for one daughter in favor of another. Melissa had enough support to give to both but she chose to give more to Maddie. There's a way to do it and Kelly did it and Melissa didn't.

Mackenzie doing the cry solo really rubbed me the wrong way because of the fact that Abby was trying to make another Maddie which is impossible because Mackenzie is Mackenzie and that will never change. also major shout-out to Christi for supporting her before her dance, it was lovely to see.
If that was my child i would be wildly proud! Maddie is one child, MacKenzie is another wonderful child! This element of the show is particularly troubling to me.

She truly knows how she felt. She was parenting a daughter with the exact same problem for years. I'm really surprised Chloe and Mackenzie weren't closer. They've both been through so much terrible things with comparing to maddie.

Poor Mackenzie I just wish I could give her the biggest hug and tell her she’s HER OWN PERSON. And she’s beautiful, talented, smart and driven all on her own.

Mackenzie could do tricks that Maddie couldn’t do, like the scorpion etc. So why was she always looked down on. She was like a mini Brooke. It’s too bad that her confidence was sucked out.
•Gacha Plays• Brooke was fantastic and showed emotions in her dances. She was the same as Brooke in acro but they should have worked on her emotions instead of comparing her to her sister. Brooke placed in every competition with acro, in the teen division (which is harder because at that age, they didn’t really consider acro), Kenzie did not in lower divisions. So let’s not down play Brooke.
Kenzie has grown throughout the show and if you see her now she has grown so much I miss little McKenzie and I’m so proud of her and her success and love how she fights back to win and when she losses she continues and brushes it off I loved watching her grow up
I understand what ur saying but at the age 8 when ur dancing there is a certain level u should be at and Mackenzie was not at the level she should be at for being 8 and especially with the moves she can do she should be dancing like she is 18-20 and with the training she got she wasn’t at that level yes she is a little girl but she is also a dancer dancing is more then doing moves it build ur muscle and can make u or break and especially if u do competition u work harder then most people Mackenzie wasn’t dancing at the level with all the skills and training she is amazing but her level wasn’t at the right thing at the time If u still don’t understand then start dancing if u don’t and u will under because I have been dancing ever since I was 3/1 and I’m I understand things I know what I’m talking about so if u try and tell me I’m wrong then just know ik what I’m talking about
also that's abby's fault because she doesn't giveher mature solos. The times she got actully mature choreography and not only sassy jazz routines and acrobatics she proved to abby that she could be given the same dances as the other girls and still nail all of them

•Gacha Plays• Brooke was fantastic and showed emotions in her dances. She was the same as Brooke in acro but they should have worked on her emotions instead of comparing her to her sister. Brooke placed in every competition with acro, in the teen division (which is harder because at that age, they didn’t really consider acro), Kenzie did not in lower divisions. So let’s not down play Brooke.

Kenzie has grown throughout the show and if you see her now she has grown so much I miss little McKenzie and I’m so proud of her and her success and love how she fights back to win and when she losses she continues and brushes it off I loved watching her grow up

Gurl she is a little girl, shes 8 and she gets compared to her older sister everyday and its so unfair-
I understand what ur saying but at the age 8 when ur dancing there is a certain level u should be at and Mackenzie was not at the level she should be at for being 8 and especially with the moves she can do she should be dancing like she is 18-20 and with the training she got she wasn’t at that level yes she is a little girl but she is also a dancer dancing is more then doing moves it build ur muscle and can make u or break and especially if u do competition u work harder then most people Mackenzie wasn’t dancing at the level with all the skills and training she is amazing but her level wasn’t at the right thing at the time If u still don’t understand then start dancing if u don’t and u will under because I have been dancing ever since I was 3/1 and I’m I understand things I know what I’m talking about so if u try and tell me I’m wrong then just know ik what I’m talking about

also that's abby's fault because she doesn't giveher mature solos. The times she got actully mature choreography and not only sassy jazz routines and acrobatics she proved to abby that she could be given the same dances as the other girls and still nail all of them
