      @@kittycatwithinternetaccess2356 Are you really norm?
Stalin organised industrialisation in 30s in the Soviet Union, and it really helps USSR in Great Patriotic War. Stalin took USSR with the plowgh, and leave it with the Nuclear Bomb.
During the Stalin's rule the economic growth was the largest in history of Russia.
Yes, there was a totalitarian regime in the USSR, and lot of people were sent to the work camps "GULAG"s or shot without trial (700000 shot, 7 millinon visited GULAG). Yes, it was really terrible.
However, I think Stalin is the greatest ruler of Russia in 20th century. He deserves this title, if only for the destruction of Nazi Germany.
Hitler's Nazi Germany attacked the Soviet Union, and during this war died TWENTY SEVEN MILLION citisens of the Soviet Union. Germans surrounded Leningrad, starved it, and bombed trucks, that tried deliver food in the city by the ice of the Ladoga Lake. 650000 people died of hunger in Leningrad. SS and wermacht burned the villages in Belarus, Ukraine, Baltic states and in the west Russia and created concentration camps on these occupied territories.
We (russian and other slavs, as well as jews and gypsies) were subhumans in Hitler's mind. Nazis wanted to destroy Russia as a state and turn my ancestors into slaves. Great Patriotic war was a war for annihilation. Our annihilation. My grandparents annihilation. And russian people will never forget it.
And when you (and europarlament) tell me about "Hitler = Stalin" or "Hitler better than Stalin", you must try to say it for our veterans. To the few of them, who are still alive. They will tell you, who was "better".
With worst wishes from Russia. Be damned, nazi justifiers.
