Deimos is so badass, just everything from his look to his gameplay just radiates this menace which fits his character so well

They also increased the R4C's recoil, while giving it one of the highest magnifications in the game.

They made a HUGE W removing 1.5x now all they need to bring back is ranked 1.0
After 3-4 years of destroying the game, which made me quit siege they finally started doing good changes to siege, which might bring me back, not sure yet
rn the game is fun af. i just played 5hrs non s top with a friend and its not too bad

And oh no, making it so our players don't have to guess with their throwing arcs, especially when utilizing one shot explosives that can easily blow themselves up because the trajectory was off

Deimos' ability concept is actually pretty cool. It's like asking your target for a 1 on 1 duel - cowboy style.

As someone who hit Diamond on pc from year 1-4, then stopped playing. This update looks insanely promising from the outside looking in.
Ngl thought this update was going to be trash with shields+deimos, but it sounds like they've been trying real hard to help with balances, cheaters, and even new content. I'm genuinely excited. Probably going to be bad at release but over time might be one of the best major updates, time will tell

I personally hate the complete removal of the 1.5x scope, I think it makes for a nice balance in between a 2.5x and a 1x, and using it definitely feels different from the other scopes

it was way too good imo. i just came back to siege maybe after like 3-4 years? i think it excelled way too much at close AND long range. only reason most people used the other sites were because there was no 1.5x on their gun.
@kitsumiii you have a w take. These guys are wrong. I am Clearance Level 562 and these long range Scopes are ruining Siege. It causes the game to be too noob friendly and easy. This game is no longer a challenge, because everyone wants to use easy optics. Before we know it this game will revolve around longe range scopes only. I may not play much next Season. Everyone was happy with 1.5 Scopes being removed and then they watch a video of a Content Creator hyping up the Scopes, so they get brain washed and just say oh never mind because this guy thinks there cool so I also think there great to keep in the game.

I still wish they'd add back the original quick play and unranked, ruined the fun of siege for me (and I know a lot of friends who stopped playing because of it too)

In my opinion, this might be the best/good season. Acogs, new grips and attachments updates, Deimos. Like phew, this may be a good one (besides the shields)

The only changes I view quite negatively is that shields no longer have to drop the shield from their face to melee, the larger center dots for many sights reducing their accuracy and playability (specifically Holo A for me as it now just feels clunky when a headshot will have the sight fully covering the targets head), and the ads speed reduction which doesn't seem to be changing much gameplay wise, but instead just slows the game and makes it a little less exciting.
I think vigil should be a counter kinda like cav and jackel since his ability is a drone that's sees you and vigils ability is to not be seen by drones
Deimos should also get live ping instead of jackal ping.

so then he doesnt have a tactical ability, it would just be a global debuff to everyone, whole point of a tactical ablilites is to gain an advantage. Not a neatrul change

After a few seasons off I think it's time to come back. Changes look promising. New operators have been less cringe lately too.

Going back to last season, this may be better however the lack of changes to quick match in terms of extended time to set up site is atrocious. Players have to choose to either set up site with limited traps or go full trap and risk having little coverage on site. It's ridiculous
looking like a good update, not keen on the throw indicator, yeah it'll reduce grenade accidents but now the skill part of c4ing perfectly is gone

This update feels like a good new refresh to the game it doesn't seem like a heavy fragging anymore and the shields and all that being improved just means you are forced to bring a lesion and rely on your utilities more now the tdm meta is killing the game I feel like this update will change thay

Shield rework is a god send I have ended up tweaking from getting headshot from pure luck or being immediately killed by the blunt shield melee
They should remove the slowing effect if shot from blitz so he stays the go to rush shield op
