- Yeesh, I thought some of the ideas in this battle were good? like him having a soul body attack? meh.
A lot of this stuff was experimental. and things like "Zero's Soul body" were later replaced. Zero will be even better in the future. Let me assure you. - Hry

This is the only fight ive seen where Zero is completed and fights like he was meant to (using the Z Buster Wily gave him). In addition he doesnt have the shoulder armor he was designed to have but wasnt finished.
Most fan games give him the Saber, but he didnt actually get that till he became leader of the Maverick Hunters after X2
Unlimited is still more realistic in most ways since he shouldnt be nearly this complete yet, but still.
You should have studied the blueprints closer, Sigma! There already were plans for a Z Saber since the beginning!
There's a theory around that the Z-Saber was made by Serges when he and the X-Hunters were in possession of Zero body parts. This is mostly sustained by the fact he and Wily look a lot alike. Then, it was probably given to him after his parts were retrieved by X.
@@sr.metang8193 That is a possibility, but even in that case it remains that he didnt have it in the pod so he wouldnt have it in any hypothetical fight with Classic.
It would be a bit odd though. This was the age of busters and Wily had already tried improving on the Mega Buster once with Bass buster, so it would be completely reasonable that Zeros more powerful (than even X, so especially more than Classics) buster would be his intended main weapon.

But the Z-Saber is just too iconic for the character. I guess the fact that Zero even has a buster to begin with, might be the only thing he and Classic Mega Man were supposed to have in common (remember, when Inafune said he wanted the main character to be red, but Capcom didn't so he made Zero as an side character?)
I think that makes sense because they really do an effort to make both characters play differently. Even more so in X5 and X6 (iirc Z-Buster only works on ground for some reason, I think that nerf is total BS but somehow it manages to support my headcanon lmao)
@@baval5 That was exactly my thought back when I made him. I did at one time, have a few saber sprites started. but they never got finished nor used. This fight was just raw power vs the blue bomber himself. But this time Rock got some power upgrades since Zero was never truly finished. (and wouldn't be until the pre-X1 days (SIgma fighting him)

This is a rather faithful recreation of the Zero boss fights in the Megaman X games.
fight seems interesting but i would make some changes
Zero takes damage from 1 special weapon and Charged Buster only.
Zero takes maximum 1 damage as wily found new metal for better armor.
Zero has a prototype of Z-Saber. His abilities are harder to dodge
So in other words you are not suppose to beat Zero but you still have a chance to do so

Great work with this, but I have to say...Megaman Classic beating Zero? ;).
We can only assume that this is a prototype hence it not being as strong as zero and after his lost to rock wily put him in the pod for improvement but died before the day came when zero was fully functional.

Technically, X CAN beat Zero. If you don't get all of Zero's parts in time in X2, you have to fight him.

And I wish this was the final Classic MegaMan game in the Classic series which kicks off the setting for MegaMan X. Man, having Zero as the final boss in a Classic MegaMan game would be awesome!

Seeing HOW MUCH there are fan games depicting zero creation and back story of classic megaman vs zero and their stasis, capcom should really start to think and make the official game

Just a slight suggestion though, while zero's attacks seem very fast and hard to avoid, his damage per attack seems a bit low to average. Especially if you give the player 2 energy tanks prior to the fight, discounting the ones the player already has, I think it should be a bit higher. I mean... this is zero; he should be able to kick someone's ass, and if you get hit most of the time and still easily make it by using 2 energy tanks, that seems a bit of a downer.
I like how he wiggles his eyebrows super-slowly.
Also, I'm certain this will become the ultimate challenge of fangames in due time...
Hate when fangames set in the Classic era that involve Zero use either his look post X-2 or any attacks he has during the X series. This has Zero's look right for that era, but two of his attacks were wrong. One he used was Soul Body, the other was the ground pound, both were attacks gained from Mavericks. The right two were his buster and the charge attack he used, and the shockwave attack.
If you consider Serges=Wily, he COULD also have his saber already.

we acctualy don´t even know if zero had a buster at this point yeah sure it would be dumb of wily not to give him one but A. he did not had one in the cutscene of x4 ( at least we did not saw him using it) B. his armor could probably not even be penetraded by megamans "lemonshooter" and C. wily was woring on a new body anyway.
Lord Hyperdragon Zero from X1 is Zero's original body, meaning he had a buster all along. The reason he didn't use it against Sigma the first time they fought was because Zero was still in his murderous rage.
Personally, I'd make him dash more, as opposed to walking. Or at least have him fire while walking. Also, the down swing on his soul attack seems pretty useless and ineffectual (as does the upswing, but at least inhibits your jump), so I'd probably fix that.
But I guess they're some of the only 'breathers' you get during the fight? So it depends on your intention.
Otherwise, looks completely awesome. I'd love to see the finished product.

A fight like this wouldn't be as lopsided to Zero as one might think. Zero just woke up, so Megaman at least has the advantage of much greater combat experience on his side, including having dozens of copied weapons to draw on. So, Zero probably would win, but it wouldn't be a forgone conclusion.
Please zero is made out of the same type of metal vile and megamans blasts cant break it x couldnt even defeat zero because they both passed out if x couldnt win hands down what makes you think megaman can

I/Mega Man on the other hand, am a VERY experienced fighter, dealing with Wily's crap 10 times, while dealing with a celestial robot (Duo), then defeating planet destroying robots, and I have 88 weapons in total. Zero has NO chance against me. Not one.

Remember all those reploids with pea shooters from MM Zero? Megaman is really no more powerful than they are without special weapons or charge shot. Just imagine Megaman trying to fight MMZ bosses, it wouldn't go well. (Tried fighting some of those bosses with just jumping and shooting pellets, you die pretty fast lol)

The second last trivia will say that X's buster is stated to be 3 times stronger than Mega's. That's probabily fair only for X from X1, as in X3, his base form is stronger than Armored X from X1

Da Maverick Blast I actually do have a chance. Zero has no fighting experience. And he also isn't made out of any new metals. He's made of Ceratanium. Every robot I've beaten was made of Ceratanium aswell. Zero is the one without a chance. With 88 weapons at my disposal he would have no chance.
Zero's body is made of a Titanium-Z alloy and runs on solar energy. Zero also has another power source concealed in his head and chest lens, that might be an advanced element that originated from Bassnium wich reacts to the Maverick Virus. Even tough Zero's specifications are greatly superior i think the winner depends on the circumstances of the evens before and during the battle if they ever fought.

mmm really its a great battle but zero dont have soul attack , and megaman dont have any chance against Zero,dont matter his status complete or incomplete, Zero armor is undestuctible with that age weapons, you can do someting how that you should survive enought (maybe with the Zero life gauge) and after that Zero catch megamn but the Zero energy is down and he is deactivated or something like that

Not a chance. That would be like you or me trying to kill classic Megaman with our fists. One shot and we’d be instantly vaporized. Zero or x’s blast would do to classic Megaman what his buster shot would do to a human.
