The banter you two have while doing these videos makes me genuinely laugh out loud. The balance you strike between aficionado and amateur makes your videos actually interesting to watch. I feel like I am learning to appreciate the whiskeys by listening to Dustin describe them but I identify with how Kaylin (I apologize if I'm misspelling your name) experiences them.

Ha, my perscription is -3.00/3.25. I do think bachmans is MN only, at least i seem to remember it being a local company anyways. Also, after seeing that Ardnamurchan cask strength sitting there full over several videos is just killing me, if you need help giving that a try just let me know, :p. Love the videos!

Rumor has it that Nikka From The Barrel contains quite a lot of Ben Nevis scotch, which is a distillery in Scotland owned by Nikka.
As far as I know this contains Yoichi, Miyagikyo, Nikka Coffy grain and Ben Nevis (Nikka owns them). Possibly other things? Nice Whisky.

Do you guys get that in 750ml as standard in the US? It's sad as we only get it in 500ml for around £40.
I really dislike the Nikka FTB bottle but the whiskey is great. One of my favorite Japanese pours, especially for the price and proof. There are VERY few Japanese Whiskies over 43%. In my area you can find this bottle for $55-60 and at that price it's a buy over Hibiki Harmony at $75-80. That said... I really like Hibiki Harmony too, just not as much as Nikka FTB.
It's been a while since I finished my bottle of Harmony but I remember loving it...Might need to do a blind showdown between the two 🤔
If you stopped comparing the drive-by to vomit I guess you could get a Nikka "on" the barrel Collab in a few years. Cheers for another one, they're coming thick and fast.

This is a nice intro to Whisky bottled in Japan. Pretty sure they can’t actually call it Japanese anymore because of other distillate *cough* Ben Nevis *cough* possibly being in there. You can also convert the bottle into a soap dispenser after it’s empty….

Lots of Ben Nevis Scotch whisky in that blend. It tastes more like Scotch than Japanese whisky. I like it but I also can't say I ever got a vomit note on the nose.
