I know Defiant coming back full time is unlikely but...I would love to see a one night only 'reunion show' or something similar down the line, if at all possible. At least, with the WCPW-Alumni that haven't signed to WWE

In 2016, WCPW was the best indie companie I've ever saw. It's a shame that actually doesn't present anything.

Justin Beck thing is though, NXT UK doesn’t really suck. Plus the wrestlers there are still free to wrestle in the indie scene there. I think Defiant stopped due to financial constraints and that Defiant wasn’t really needed anymore (in WhatCulture’s opinion anyway)
I think they made some mistakes that led to the ultimate failure. When the promotion started, they used to get a lot of viewers and they were able to build stars. They did Sports Entertainment better than WWE did at that time and they also had some really good technical wrestlers to keep the viewers hooked. At that time they used to get over 100K viewers on every episode. And those viewers included WWE fans who used to watch WWE videos on Whatculture's wrestling channel. But once they did their first PPV, they decided to bring in some popular indy wrestlers for one offs and feed their stars to those guys. For me, it made me lose a little bit of interest. I liked Minoru Suzuki and I grew up watching Kurt Angle on TNA but when I am watching WCPW, those are not the guys I wanted to see. Because they didn't have any character or storyline there. Joseph Conners Vs Joe Hendry could've easily main evented Refuse To Loose. Hendry was build as their top star at that time and Martin Kirby, who challenged Conners for the World title at that event was red hot at that moment. So yeah, they didn't need Suzuki or Angle at that event. Later they kept bringing more guys for special attraction and the stars they built were lost in the shuffle. And by the time they came back from hiatus, their roster was filled with guys from other top promotions. The fans started to lose interest and it showed in their declining viewership up until the demise of the promotion. They did try to resurrect the promotion when they brought back Loaded in their final year but they fucked up again when they made David Starr lose to PAC before getting his World title shot. It made their top prize look less prestigious than Dragongate's secondary belt.
