THANK YOU SIR FOR VARY GOOD CONDACTING..🙏
Weplayed it in 1949. It ever stays great.
I hadn't heard the full version in over 25 years! It gave me goose bumps.
I used to play it back in the 80's with the local band of my alsatian village and it used to be the longest and most technical song in our repertory. I was probably 10 or 12 at the time.
Thank you so much for this flashback!
Ritchie Howard Yorkshire Volunteers Band - Well Done All
Am I the only one clapping along with them?
If you look at the conductor, he motions for the audience to start clapping. It's about enjoying the music.
A well turned out band, producing a good tone, shoudn't think they would fear any Kneller Hall inspection.
Amp up the baritone or listen to the recording by best of brass bands.

A POX upon those who insist upon clapping along with an orchestra.
A pox upon those who feel the need to clap along with the band. Would you clap along with The Royal Philharmonic?? Some people like to hear ALL the music and not have some of obscured by clapping.
You're a fun one aint you.
The conductor asked them to!
