Solo Pyro Pete (OP8!) with Axton (Commando)

Today, I will show you how I defeated OP8 Pyro Pete, using the commando Axton. There's nothing special to beating him, however there is a specific way to do it. You could call this a glitch if you want, but I find it to be an equalizer when it comes to these Raid Bosses.
The only real things you need are:
►Infinity pistol (preferably electric)
►Bee shield (optional, best to go with the 'Alkaline' one)
►Sandhawk (optional)
►Unkempt Harold (optional, highly recommended, I use the double penetrating)
►Grenades (no mods needed)
►A taste for Adventure (again, optional)
Simply activate Pete, jump to the spot marked in the video, and enjoy your victory against Pyro Pete. Rinse and repeat for legendaries and seraph items. Enjoy!

Borderlands 2 Review (I actually did write this)
Gearbox Software's looter shooter has returned with a brand new cast of characters, along with previous returning favorites. The previous Borderlands was an interesting blend of looting and shooting, thus the title, and blended witty characters with exciting gun fights. But how does Borderlands 2 measure up?
The Not So Wonderful Pandora
Set a few years after the first, you step into the role of a new set of vault hunters. The vault was opened thanks to the first group of vault hunters, but resealed at the end of Borderlands.
Now a new threat has appeared on Pandora in the form of Handsome Jack, president of the Hyperion Corporation; dealers of both arms and technology. Jack's goal is to force open the vault through Eridium, a special mineral found on Pandora, and unleash the beast inside (read more about the original Borderlands if you haven't played it).
Your job as a vault hunter is to stop Handsome Jack before he can open the vault and unleash it's contents, with the aid of supporting characters like Claptrap, Marcus, Moxxi, Tiny Tina, Mordecai, Brick, Lilith, Tk Baha, Dr. Zed, Scooter, Patricia Tannis and Sir Hammerlock.
That is some insane fire rate....

I soloed Pyro Pete by using a shock sandhawk and a bee shield. I was using the commando. He is not nearly as underpowered as you make him out to be. You simply just don't know how to build him.
CounterFactual he is great he super defensive and if you use a legendary ranger class mod you have amazing burst dps whilst being able to tank even with the bee on
Then again, the sandhawk is op against anything.
watch demonites speed kills. he killed pyro pete in 1:25 with axton. he killed hyperius in 1:60 seconds. and he killed terramorphous in 1:27 axton is great for raiding if you have the right gear he's just more complicated that's all.
@@Fuvail exactly as an axton main I know people underestimate axton so much, they either don't know how to build him or think he's a carbon copy of Roland for bl1

@@kevin0k496 any DOT (damage over time) based damage counts as splash damage and splash damage is considered grenade damage which axton can boost to by insane amount

I kill Pyro Pete OP8 solo with my Siren, and it's really difficult. I died 2 times, but at the third attemp i do it.
again I'm sorry for being disrespectful but this really does play to the "Axton can't raid" line of thinking, people are leading time trials with Axton so clearly he can actually raid legit...
Does not work and I hate how Borderlands 2 has become ohh you use “weapon that can only be gotten from raid bosses” but it’s like where do you start??? I have tried over 200 times solo as Salvador with a DPUH and Grog and I can NEVER BEAT HIM!!! Or any of the other raid bosses for that matter except for Terra
...are you using a bee shield? Get an Alkaline Bee shield and use the damn taps to cleanse the fire dot, it also releases low hp mobs that are PERFECT for No Kill Like Overkill damage to do an absolutely STUPID amount of damage to him. Sal can solo every raid boss in the game on op10. Sal is to raid bosses what Maya is to mobs.
Great video only thing I personally think was bad about it was you tuning in a circle in the elevator made me want to puke had to pause video just so I wouldn't puke but other video was great.

that doesn't sound sayisfying or legitimate at all... all due respect, glitching him into a spot where he's a sitting duck isn't what I'd call "legit". Not a hack but clearly an exploit, and it definitely doesn't help with the stereotype that Axton can't raid if THIS is how he raids, I thought I was being cheap just off of beehawking on Maya...
sorry to be a bitch but this ain't it chief maybe it was good for console players back in the day but this is some IDDQD shit tbh. To take Pete genuinely as Maya I gotta shock-beehawk using a Blood of the Ancients to not run out of ammo, only switching to the Bone when I'm under 1,620 SMG ammo an if I don't get enough amp shots / crits then I'll still run out of ammo and doing it all as a total glass cannon.
