I mean really, the fact that he kept calling himself arrogant, that's exactly what zote would do if he met a clone of himself, probably the most realistic part of the whole video.
I feel like it would make slightly more sense if Bretta narrated grey prince zote except for the fact that he lost
Someone needs to make a mod where
-Bardoon can do fire tricks
-Crystal Guardian is replaced with Myla
-You can fight Grubfather
-Grimm freely transforms between Troupe Master and Nightmare King forms
-Cloth is the master of all weapons
And, most importantly,
-Sly is tall.

Honestly, switching between TMG and NKG would probably be pretty difficult. Having to constantly adjust to two similar, but slightly different, movesets would interrupt the flow of the fight to an incredibly annoying degree lol

He will fix his life opponents life so much he will have nothing to do and then they will be depressed

I love how ai tries to make it a fair fight even if there is an obvious winner from the start

Grimm turning into NKG and Hornet just "beating his ass in response" made me cry od laughter. Also, the insistence on Sly's impressive stature. Like wut.
Hornet going "shaw" upon her victory against NGK also brought tears to my eyes.
The crazy part is every single battle had a realistic outcome -- except for one, and you know which one it is.
Also its a shame Elderbug didn't join the fight. He would've won easily.
TOO easily, the result would've been so obvious that the tournament would've been boring for the audience as they knew who was gonna win

Joking aside, GPT did a better job then I expected estabilishing its own version of the characters with Round 1.
Bardoon's staff, fire and association with Elderbug were complete nonsense, but it's kinda hard to make him fight without the fire attacks, although I think he could have crushed a primal aspid with his body eventually.
Myla's crystal moves are also nonsense, but at least tangentially related to her character, and I think it's reasonable to give the Pale King some control over the Void, considering his R&D on kingsmoulds and wingmoulds.
Giving Menderbug the power of healing based on his name was also a stretch, but he had to have something to survive against Ogrim.
Quirrel knowing magic wasn't stricly necessary, as you can see in the fight against Uumuu that he is agile and proficient with the nail, so he could have held out against the Knight for a bit in a brawl, but considering we already have the Knight, Hornet and Sly in the category "agile nail fighters", it is an interesting twist.
Attributing body slams and grub swarms to Grubfather is honestly spot on in terms of how he could begin to hope to contend with not only Grimm, but NKG.
Grey Prince vs Hornet was the best match, even going as far as to include actual moves from their boss battles, like Zote's dive attack which for all we know, Bretta's subconscious mind could call Desolate Dive, and Zotelings, and Hornet Sentinel's parry and counter.
Salubra using charms and illusions (which I assume refer to her blessing) is as good as you get, but without a means of attack, I don't even know why she joined, so forfeiting sounds about right. Sly could totally whack the Radiance if he had the means to get inside Hollow Knight's dreams.
In Round 2, the King winning against Bardoon is only possible assuming he used his void attacks to somehow hurt Bardoon, and giving him bullshit agility to dodge the bullshit flames. Narratively a very interesting encounter, with a very open ended result.
On Dung Defender vs Knight, GPT might have mixed up the player's pogo jump with the strategy of juggling Ogrim, and somehow attributed it to him. Given that the bot says projectiles, I take it the Soul ability in question is Vengeful Spirit.
Hornet could totally put up a fight against regular Grimm, and her trapping the Grimmkin in silk was a nice touch, but NKG would burn her to a crisp faster than she could say "git gud". Maybe not that fast, but while none of NKG's attacks are impossible for Hornet to dodge, he has the resilience to make it a battle of attrition and the damage to wear her down.
If Cloth had used the giant club against Sly, and assuming Sly made a mistake, which would be the only way for her to land a solid hit, she could definitely stun him, but ignoring that hypothetical inside a hypothetical Sly would clean the floor with her, pun intended. Worst match.
Round 3, I'm glad the Knight got a chance to slap dad. Mans thinks he can pull up in Radiance's territory, fucking die, and suddenly be the king. Then when Radiance retaliates he just hurls kids at the problem until one sticks. That failing, he takes his whole ass palace and bails. That beating by the Knight was a long time coming.
Hornet vs Cloth though, wasn't much of a fight, I'd much rather have seen Hornet vs Sly.
Narratively, siblings fighting makes for a great final round though. Probably a coincidence, or a shallow reference to Hornet's name, but I like the remark "as sharp as the sting of a thousand bees", considering Vespa was presumedly her mentor. I also like the idea of a Vessel and its Shade fighting together, kinda complements the idea of Void given Focus in my mind.
I read hornet saying "git gud" with the voice line she has when pinning HK.
Anyone else imagine a whole animated tournament of this in their head?

- Grubfather does not care about his children
- Grimm can just become his Nightmare King form if he feels like it
- Zote is so epic that he commentates his own battle and knows desolate dive
- Hornet honestly is the exact same
- Salubra can create illusions of herself
- Cloth forgot about her club
- The Radiance is weak as fuck
- Sly has a towering stature
But most importantly...

Most of these results are surprisingly agreeable, although the fights themselves are weird. It's really fitting for Hornet and the Knight to end up in the finals.
