Cards cost a penny or less to manufacture, most usually, and so overspending on them in hopes of selling them for MUCH MORE is a form of sports gambling.
But even if youre not trying to turn a profit, theres no need for cards to cost more than a dollar a pack for 20 cards or $25 for a whole set.
