Fuck yeah, Streetlight is one of the most under-appreciated bands of all time. I’ve never respected a musical project as much as I do Streetlight. Tomas Kalnoky is a fucking _genius_ and a revolutionary. He hasn’t gotten the recognition he deserves, but that’s just the nature of being a revolutionary. Most people don’t listen until the thing you’re trying to stop happens.
I was a little disappointed at first that this wasn’t a first-time listen, because those are always fun, but hearing you talk about them and how much you’ve enjoyed their music made my day. Anyone who truly appreciates this band has great taste, imo.

Have you ever heard of a band called Bridge City Sinners?
They have a definite rockabilly flavour, but with other interesting elements mixed in, and the lead singer has an amazing voice - full of attitude and sass.

Hey mate, ever heard of UnExpect or Diablo swing orchestra? They are pretty at the limit of the metal spectrum (and of what i heard you review), but if you never heard, you might be in for jewels. The first is avant-garde disharmonic metal and the second a band that could be described as metal-swing-opera-fusion. Desert urbania and bedlam sticks, respectively. DSO made alot of good stuff, but some are ''less'' metal, like the age of vulture culture, superhero jagganath or voodoo mon amour.
