The intent was that she gave the change to the buyer before the alarm was raised. It’s just poor animation that they showed him gone before she returned
Well.. they didn't show or tell that the guy got the 7 dollars.. so i agree with OP
Yeah that last one was so confusing. There was absolutely no indication at all that she had already given him the seven dollars before he left...
Also how does she change a $10 note and get $7 back??? If she gave the $7 to the counterfeiter she lost nothing but the rope. But if she had to pay the money back to the store she now lost $10. There is not a single logical reasoning behind her losing $7
