- A custom loop I made of the 1985 Guiding Light theme played during the credits in an attempt to take the voiceover out and extend the track overall. I stopped at about 7 minutes. I also looped the opening from 1991 because I needed video and this is my favorite intro of all the ones for Guiding Light.
Classic Guiding Light was phenomenal!! Man it never could be matched by any other show!!
I watched Guiding Light for the month of August 1983 and then returned back to the UK. I always remembered the theme music and it's just so fabulous to hear it again after all this time. Thank you so much.

Hearing this theme reminds me of how much I miss The Guiding Light. They cancelled it much too soon and replaced it with programming no one wanted.
