3 reasons why it’s so hard separating the Weekend from Tedros:
1. His acting sucked ass
2. He’s literally one of the producers of the show
3. He kicked of the og female producer and re-did the entire show because it was too focused on the ‘female perspective’

I just feel very bad cuz,
Lots of people who knew Jennie since her pre debut days, especially scenes in the Blackpink movie about their journey,
She mentions how she has been a huge fan of Weeknd's music, practiced his songs a lot, but had to move on to lighter or different type of music that suits her better.
(when she makes cover versions, she has to focus on her persona "jennie" and what she wants that persona to be like, hence she gave up on covering or practicing his songs).
Imagine having a chance to be cast on a show, where you get scenes of direct communication with one of your fav idols.
Only to realize what kind of person he really is, how badly he f*cked up your western acting industry debut. Not even Lily, daughter of Johnny f*cking Depp, has enough influence to save this show.
Then people are all over the place sh*tting on her, how she deliberately chose this show, how she must be such a cheap person.
Meanwhile she signed the deal, you can't just back out. She knew the female in charge was taken away and replaced with Sam Levinson the mommy issues creeper.
She still had hopes, as Lily Depp and Weeknd were involved, believed it won't be a such a terrible choice.
Maybe it might be slightly too sexy, but did not expect it to turn out to be the cringefest that it did.

So the viewers, especially young audiences could be alarmed and avoid to become the target.
The fact that they halt the production (after 80% filmed) and willing to wasting 75 million USD and changed it into this, it's hard not to think that something really evil and sinister running in Hollywood.
Gosh, to hear what they've done to sabotage 'Sounds of Freedom' should really worrying people.

Her fans wanted to show their support because it was her acting debut and it was in Hollywood, but a few months before the release of the series, rumors about the Weeknd doing some sh*tty decisions of hiring Sam as the director of the show caused an uproar from her fans that made them more serious with their goal of only watching Jennie's scenes in the show and discard the rest which was a great decision.
