Matriphagy is a concept album about how an overprotective mother pushes her son to the edge of insanity through psychological & physical abuse. Having spent two decades trapped inside a glorified prison, and after some failed rescue/escape attempts, the son, in a state of heavy delirium does the unforgivable to free himself from his mother's wicked hold.

My favorite band is Korn, and favorite sub genre of metal is nu metal. So obviously, when nu metal was abandoned by so many artists, I missed it. But now... This seems like some new revitalization of the genre! I'm definitely interested.

So stoked to be a part of a moshpit to this one day, not even gonna lie.
When I first heard Tallah I honestly thought "what is this shit." I felt it was chaotic, had no flow or structure, and just didn't do it for me. I was like there has to be something more to this band that I'm missing so I gave them another listen and holy shit I'm glad that I did. I sat down and listened to every single track without a skip. It's been a while since I've been this hyped for a band and so enthralled in their sound. Their sound is uniquely addicting as it's the best way I can describe it. It's a car crash happening right in front of you and you just can not take your eyes off it, in this case your ears away from the pure and beautiful destruction. Keep on doing what you guys are creating cause it's a utterly amazing.

As someone who grew up with Slipknot, Korn and a few other bands from that era, this is finally a modern reinterpretation of the things that made those bands great back in the day.
