@Dixoncheesepuffs I was drunk as hell on jager at a party last week on this game. The rule every year in the UGA/Tech game is that every time we score everyone has to do a shot of jager. I walked home stagdardly that night lol. 61-39-5 vs Tech nerds now. We might be in the Liberty Bowl I think and it was a dissapointing year at 6-6 but hell we beat Tech again.
I wanna say the OT victory over Bama was in 2007, I believe. The following year they came to us and we had the Blackout that lived in Infamy. That was 2008, when we were the preseason ranked number 1.

Honestly, I feel like if we don't wear silver britches it's bad luck (Last time we did that was against Florida in 2009) and they haven't thrown on the black jerseys since we got beat by Alabama (yes I know we were wearing the silver britches then) between the hedges. I want to see them back, because we also beat Auburn and Hawaii with them, so I agree with you that you can't blame the jerseys. I blame it on the fact we always struggle in big games historically, we can't get ourselves over the hump and can't get out of own way. Examples: 2014 - Florida, 2013 - we just had a rough year, 2012 - Alabama and South Carolina, 2011 - LSU, 2010 - off year, 2009 - off year, 2008 - Alabama, Florida and GT, 2007 - that was our year, its just that Vanderbilt decided to blow a 24 point lead and ultimately cost us the East, 2006 - we were in a rebuilding mode 2005 - Florida and Auburn, and we are just talking the last 10 years. I can keep going about the sagas before hand

Before that, they were similar to Vandy.
