Love it Ben and thanks again for the support and Donation to Alopecia UK 👊🏻
The energy you guys had was amazing.. great to meet you all. Congratulations on the race and fundraising!
Sarah: “Stop talking to me!” 😂
Easily the BEST moment. 🤣🤣
I love it!!!😂😂😂
Relatable!
Can relate. My bro says this to me every time we run.
This is me to my husband when he's talking to me on a hard run😂😂😂😂😂
11:54 Sarah being super relatable: "stop talking to me" Ben: "it's conversational pace" - loved it
Congratulations Sarah, well done! Also an additional award for "Most restrained" when telling Ben to leave you alone in the nicest way possible 😀
Ah Ben and Sarah, I did not know you were there, I would have come and said hello. It was my first marathon at age 52 and thanks to the Ben Parkes Marathon Level 3 plan, I managed a 3.52 time which was my goal to run a sub 4 with the plan of training for a sub 3.30, which I did, would give me half hour leeway.
Great job Sarah and props to all at the Chester Marathon
That's an amazing accomplishment - congratulations!
Well done!
Well done Mark. Yes, Sarah wanted to keep it a bit on the quiet, as she was very nervous. But great to hear you had such a great run at Chester. That's superb. Congratulations!
That’s a great first marathon time - Well done!! 😁👍
First marathon? 3.52? 52 yrs old? That is *identical* to me (Worcester in my case) since then I have - not *planned* and much to my surprise - run over 100 marathons (including a few *short* ultras).. off you go 🏃... Well done!
Well done Sarah. I smiled all the way through watching that. I LOVE seeing people getting out there and working hard towards something special. Very inspiring!!!
Thank you Robbie! Will pass on the well done to Sarah.
“Please stop talking to me” Sarah being ever so friendly, whenever me and my mrs have ran together I get my head bitten off if I utter any words of encouragement to her during the run 😂 Like a lioness full of rage waiting to attack 😂😂
Definitely want to see more videos from Sarah. Well done Sarah - fantastic time!
Let's go, Sarah! Such a great run! Her running posture looked so good the entire run.
Think the village is Holt. About 16 miles in, when things start to hurt. A great spot, was a lifesaver for me when I did it in 2019; the people there were amazing!
Way to go, Sarah!!!! So glad to see this. You two are the absolute best!
Hey Ben and Sarah, congratulations both getting GFA times, see you at London! I saw Sarah come down the finish looking strong. Was going to say hi but didn't want to interrupt the filming. I followed your Advanced Marathon Plan and managed an 18 minute PB of 2:47. Cheers Ben! Runner 652.
Wow, congratulations Edward! That's a superb time and huge PB. Smashed sub 3 and sub 250 in the same run!!
“It’s conversational pace” 🤦🏻♂️ it easy for you to say Ben 😆🤣😂. In a marathon I would have also like that e bike to finish a race 🤷🏻♂️. Congrats Sarah!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Well done Sarah! Yes yes please add to your channel Sarah. Love your channel. And Ben you are awesome. Watching you guys is inspiring and as always a great team together.
Very well done Sarah: you smashed that! Look forward to seeing you both at London 2023 (which will be my first London marathon!)
@Ben: “It’s conversational pace” - I bet you’re going to pay for that 😂
haha! See you in London 2023!!
Congratulations Sarah! Totally agree, don’t know how you manage to be so nice during such a hard effort. Funny as the comment to Ben was, I also like how he takes it so much in stride himself. You make a great team! Would love a video where you guys talk your opinions about road
Marathons versus ultra trails! (I run both as well and have a clear favorite)
Superb Sarah to put up with Ben gassing in your ears all the way 🤣🤣 Great running gal and a lovely upload as always Ben 👏🏼👏🏼
Nicely paced Sarah! Thanks for taking us along and you looked strong the entire way.
Well done Sarah!
I really enjoyed this! I finished 4th this year and won last year and tbh it looks far more fun when there's runners around and more of atmosphere!
Congratulations Michael!!
Congratulations Sarah! Love watching you both. Running my first marathon in January 🤞🏃♀
Wow great effort by Sarah! Congrats to her on getting that GFA qualification. I agree with you Ben, she has more potential in the marathon. Her stride, cadence, and form looked good throughout the run. She definitely has sub 3:20 potential. And great job filming alongside on the bike. I really enjoyed this video, thanks! 👍
congratulations Sarah......you really made it look easy....you two are such a great couple
I ran Chester this year, really enjoyed the race, great event but a really tough course with the hills at the end. I ran 2:56:15 which was a 4min PB, meaning I’ve got a GFA place for London 🎉
Nice!
See you in London Jack!! Congratulations!
Great video Ben - congratulations to Sarah on finishing in a really solid time. Thanks for taking the GoPro along & for taking time to chat to other runners. Your generosity in offering to contribute to their sponsorship gets a big thumbs up from me👍
Congratulations Sarah, lovely to see the fruits of your labor! Looking forage to see you race London ❤
Great event, I took part this year after following one of your marathon plans and got a new PB. Thanks Ben and well done Sarah 👏
Well done on your new PB!! Congratulations!!
Loved this vlog! Fun stuff. Thanks for filming Ben and great work Sarah!
And yes…I think it’s time to snag Sarah some new Vaporfly’s! 😂
The thumbnail could almost be Sarah biting her thumb at you. So proud of Sarah. She makes it look effortless! I know there's lots of training, hard work and mental toughness behind it. ❤
Congrats on your race. Love how you and Ben make running fast look so fun.
Great video Ben and congrats to Sarah😀 I ran it and agree, organisation was absolutely brilliant! So many toilets pre race, no queues, easy to slot into your pace booth! My first mara and banked 3:13! Chuffed
That was just amazing! Congratulations Sarah! So nice to see Ben totally supporting her👏👏
Big Well Done to Sarah. Great run. Definitely time we saw some more videos on her channel - particularly liked her relaxing video of Malham Cove. Wonderful mix of video and music. So inspiring.
Great to see Sarah in the video and great time. It was her videos that helped me go my first ultra and led me to this channel. Keep you the great content.
Great job sara and great job ben for your support. Hats off to both of you!
Great run Sarah. Great comms Ben, and donating to fellow runners, love your channel ❤
Absolutely awesome video as always, well done Sarah for such a brilliant race🥳!!!
I was running on the other side on the metric marathon (not quite there yet for the full marathon😅) and seeing Sarah flying past and Ben with a GoPro and a wide smile on his face on the other side of the road motivated me so much to keep pushing towards my goal!
Ben and Sarah are an inspiration to many I'm sure!
Well done on your metric marathon run!
Loved this video, I'm guide running at Chester this year so was intrigued to see the course. Thankyou & well done Sarah. 👏
Congratulations Sarah!!! 🎉 well done.
Very inspirational. I’ve only just started following your channel after looking for a pre run warm up vid. Had to laugh at your nervous open the gate close the gate comment. Just finished my first marathon on Sunday (Melbourne Marathon - Australia) Goal of 4:00 but completed in 3:42. Now training hard for a London Qualifier next year. Keep up the fantastic work on the channel.
Well done Morgan! Smashed your goal.. congratulations!! 🙌
Yes great vid as usual. And Sarah smashing it again. What an amazing time that is too. ❤🙌
Very very inspiring, thank you! My GFA plan, after watching this, is to hang on until I'm 70, train like hell, and hope I can maintain my current marathon time! haha
Inspiring as always Sarah! Get it done in London!
Well done. I have ran Chester in 2019 and 2021. Just entered it again for 2023 after running London on Sunday and getting a PB due to using your training plan. It's an awesome event, medal, shirt and a great goodie bag.
Congratulations on the PB Gary!!
Well done Ben and Sarah!
I saw you both at the start and it was great to say hello, thanks for finding the time!
It was my first marathon and came in under my goal of 04:30 at 04:24.
I've just picked up one of your training plans and hope to go sub 4 at Brighton!
Good luck at Brighton! Let us know how you get on. Congratulations on a great time at Chester too!
Said hi to you along the course at one point Ben; this was my first marathon and your videos have helped loads! Goal was to end strong and finish under 3:45 and got a 3:40 finish! Thank you !
Congratulations Sarah! Incredibly smooth stride throughout. Enjoy running London next year.
What a wonderful video. Sarah looked so calm and composed and strong the whole race--and she smiled. I can't manage a smile in a 5K, for heaven's sake. Great work!
Congratulations!🎉🎉🎉 super happy for you!
Superb video, well done Sarah and great support Ben
That is an amazing performance Sarah!! So happy for you that you got your good for age time. Well done to Ben too for the support on the bike!!!!
Loved this video!
Well done Sarah amazing as usual ! Great filming Ben really enjoyed that ! 👏👏👏👌👍
Great video, had me chuckling. Congratulations Sarah, awesome effort ✌
Well done and Congratulation Sarah! I felt so good after watch! you two are so cute together :)
love you guys!Great vlog well done Sarah! xxx
Awesome video and running. Well done Sarah. I was momentarily very tempted to apply for London, but I’ve only ever run a half marathon and I’m currently sitting on a cushion due to very painful high hamstring tendonitis which I’ve had for over a year now after training for the half marathon last October. I must be realistic and get that sorted and fixed first!! All the best for London - both of you! 👍🏻
Well done Sarah!! You make the marathon look so easy!! X
This video has such a nice vibe! Good job Sarah!
Well done Sarah! I loved the video and what an inspiration she is! Lovely! 🥳💪
Can she do it? YES, SHE CAN! Amazing job, Sarah! You made it look easy, still being able to talk out there! And yes, I’d definitely like to see more videos on your channel! I love your humble, unassuming approach.
Congratulations Sarah!! Nice work!!
Awesome job Sarah!!!! and ended it with a smile!
Well done! This was my second marathon. I was on track for 3:45 but picked up a hip injury halfway so plodded across the line at 4:27. Next time 💪
Next time and kudos for still getting a finish time. Well done Blake!
Magnificent running Sarah, your pacing is next level 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
AWESOME RUN by Sarah! That finishing hill looked like a killer, not sure if I could have kept it going! VERY Well Done!!!!
Well done Sarah 👏 I ran London at the weekend and I definitely agree road marathons are the toughest race!
Beautiful Sarah! Great form all the way to the finish!
Well done Sarah! Fantastic! Great video Ben, love the massive amount of support you give 👍🏻 And yes to more Sarah videos 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Love her chatty vids ❤
Amazing work as always!
Well done Sarah, what a great result. Another great video.
Superb effort...well done Sarah!
I'm a bit late to this but thanks Ben - great video and great run by Sarah. I've done nothing but ultras for the last 6 years but I'm doing Chester Marathon this year to mark 30 years since I did my first and only marathon (Robin Hood Marathon, 1994, in 3:46) so it was good to see the course. I'll be aiming for a London GFA (62 y.o), inspired by you two!
Gotta be my favourite vlog of yours so far.. well done Sarah..
Congrats! London was incredible this year…. But these smaller marathons also seem to be great too
Congratulations Ms. Sarah!Good job!I will always support your CZcams Channel Sir Ben!Keep safe and run safe God bless always!❤😉❤
I'm running here this year! Started your beginner marathon training plan, 2 weeks in, so far so good - determined to get this done!!! Awesome to see Sarah run it 🤩
Brilliant effort Sarah, well done!!! Great video as always
Great run, Sarah made it look easy. Great content as usual, Ben.
Well done, Sarah!! I used it to get a GFA time last year, so glad you got yours. Well done for putting up with Ben's annoying questions 🤣 and for surviving that killer hill at the end!
Legend, well done Sarah! I was also there with the same goal a few mins behind you…that hill at the end 😅😅
Congrats Sarah! I saw you blow past me at about mile 23 when I was fading, really strong run. Kudos to all who finished on Sunday…..
Well done Sarah! Great running hitting that target time bang on. Brilliant video as always
Hi Ben I am doing my first marathon in July Gold Coast.
Running for sick kids institute in Sydney Australia.
Planning to 3hours 53 minutes.
Like your channel.
That was a fun video to watch. Congratulations, Sarah!
Congratulations Sarah! 🎉 You guys are so lovely 🥰 #couplegoals
Road marathons are definitely way harder than ultras, if you’re training for a certain time anyway. The hardest thing I’ve done was train for a sub-3:30 for London 2020, which of course was cancelled so it came to nothing in the end! When I eventually ran it last year I took it easy and came in at 3:53 so pretty pleased with that after no road training all year. One day I might try for a fast time again, but I think I prefer 100 milers now! 😂
Sarah looked so smooth throughout! Well done on a great time!!
Well done Sarah!! Great job!! Great video! ❤
Fab run by Sarah, u star 💪🏼🏅💪🏼... looking forward to more content with her /from her 🙂🙂
Well done Sarah!! I ran London at the weekend but won’t be going back in April as I’ve signed up for Boston again 🎉🎉 Hope your legs are recovering well xxx
Get in Sarah 🎉🎉🎉
Great Video. I did the metric as a warm up for York marathon & saw the 3:30 pacer go past at the merge point just before I merged in so would have been around the same area for the last 8 miles.
Well done Sarah! I was going to run Chester this year but injury stopped me. Look forward to running it next year!!!
Hopefully you're back running again very soon Phill!
The first vapor fly is my favorite. The knit in the other versions doesn't work well with my feet. Great work Sara!
Thanks for the info on good for age. Now I just have to go and run a sub 3 marathon
Congrats SARAH!!!!!
Really awesome job, Sarah! Well done!
Congratulations Sarah for your strong performance and achieving your goal. All the best.
Great run, great video.....nice to see the UK countryside again... watching from South Australia
Thank you! Hope all is well in Aus!
Why you don’t have 1M subscribers makes no sense!! Your content is superb!
Great vid, I was at Chester Marathon too! Saw you at the start line but didn't have time to say hi. Was a great event and managed come come away with a great new PB!
Fantastic Sarah, that was some amazing running. The highlight has to be ‘stop talking to me’, just how I’d imagine I’d be with my boyfriend in the same situation 😂🤣
Congratulations Sarah, you did amazing. 🎉🎉🎉
