Great show of humility from a great champ. Mr. Hopkins was one of my favorites. I think boxing is one of the greatest sport ever it can bring out the best and worst it is truly recreation or re creation of life's lessons it appears that Mr Hopkins has mastered them. He shows that it takes a village. Respect, peace, and blessings to all fighters and those who take care of them like the gentleman mentioned in and out the ring / and in the village.

Bernard Hopkins inspired me, I used to train to Bhop fights videos, I used to learn boxing from watching B hop fights, my first boxer to study. B hop wasn't the fastest, wasn't the strongest, wasn't the most talented or skilled, he didn't have the golden boy face, or the Olympic medal. B hop came up from the gutter, from the streets and worked his way up and became the champion of the world from hard hard work! And he fought at a older age, and shown the world what hard work can do by beating younger, stronger, more athletic men. B hop was a great throwback fighter, and Rudy Battles was a great ref, I'm glad B hop gave Mr Battle his props cause he's a overlooked legend in the game.
But B hop, my brother in deen, is a inspiration for me personally. He's one of the greats to ever do it. This hall of fame class is special yall, B hop, is a legend to me and my shaikh in the field of pugilism. Thank you B Hop, wa alaikum salaam rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu champ!

This is 3 classes in one because of the pandemic. But even individually, each of the 3 classes are good. The Hall itself said that combing these 3 classes in one made it the greatest induction class ever.

@@waliahmad3030 Yeah, there's a limited number that's allowed in each year, and this was 3 years, with all 3 having notable fighters. Andre Ward mentioned in his speech that even though he understood the delay because of the pandemic, he was calling the Hall up because he wanted his Hall of Fame ring as soon as possible.

My friend edited his name on wiki in like 2009 to Bernard Humphrey Hopkins jr . Mad how many professional articles carried that name on things over the years and how it’s only recently been rectified. There’s still a few wiki edits from back in the day that are still on there .
