What do all the coaches of the Reggae Boyz have in common? They all have the same head. This realization is quite thought-provoking. Recently, there has been a change in coaching staff, with coach Halligrimmson replacing Paul Hall a former Reggae Boyz.
Despite efforts to address inconsistencies and improve the team's tactical, professional, and strategic approach, the dentist-turned-coach has resigned. This situation highlights the saying that a fish rots from the head down. The Jamaican Football Federation (JFF) seems to have personal issues with certain individuals and communicates through the coach.
Although Whitmore may not have the necessary qualifications to be the national head coach, he was chosen due to his affordability and a few accolades. Haligrimmson was a suited coach for an impossible job. Until the leadership within the JFF is held accountable, the results for the Reggae Boyz and Girls will unfortunately be unforgettable and painful.

All the corruption that’s going on the keep forcing him in it but differently I don’t give 1 F because he’s a coach who doesn’t know when and where to use his players and make changes. He can’t correct his mistakes and weather he’s the coach or not, we love Jamaica because we from Jamaica so we gonna feel it. In the last 2 games he got nothing to lose but still starting 6 defenders every game and expect who to be the playmaker in the game???????? How the ball gonna reach to the forwards??? Coach did the right thing. He is not getting the results and did not show he is technically sound. At least he knows to resign unlike our people who would have to be dragged out. The team lacks intensity, no attacking style, no fast pace running, a lot on turn overs some obvious players are not committed.
How about him getting out..I think the failure of the team is not only the coaching staff. If you hire a driver to drive your bus and he reck the bus, and you buys him another one ,do you expect a different results.
We had the Technical Director in place to coordinate and advance Jamaican Football to the next level. Need to adopt the system in America (Team coaching-Offensive/Attacking/goalkeeping/medical/Analyst etc. ) in unison with the federation. Otherwise it becomes overwhelming with what Halgrimsson or any other coach in the future will haveto deal with the underlying problems with our football.

Yow Ryan the Coach has not done anything wrong. The coach is a good coach but just like how Jamaican people get rid of Renie Simoes, they have done it again. The man has done a great job despite the dysfunctionality within Jamaican football. The rift between Butler and the JFF along with Bailey and the disrespect has caused the coach to resign and I don't blame him!! The players are the ones that failed not the coach. The midfield was not ready and the forwards had no composure. many of you guys are on the Jamaican born players to playbut they are not ready and also some of the English born players. Palmer is not good enough to play the midfield position they must can find better. Cephas is a good player but needs to learn to finish. Midfield Midfield Midfield. Meron Gordon seem to be a good candidate . All the games we played we had some hard luck, but dispite of the loss against Venezuela we played well, at one time position was 50-50.

@@michaelclarke8367 yes was after the suspension he announce he is stepping away from the national team and went on a rant disrespecting everybody because he felt disrespected and should not be held accountable for his action that's how the thrift started again with the federation and his camp but unlike previous times where they weren't aware that whenever he wears the national team colors he is nothing but a average player so you can't make demands when you bring nothing to the table and we are here again but chippy will be 28 summer so in sports it means he has limited time on hand
