SubhanaAllah. As always, this is very beneficial. JazakAllah Khair for everyone involved in the production of these videos. Especially to our Brother ustadh Abdurahman- May Allah swt keep you steadfast and keep harm both seen and unseen far away from you and all of us.
If we seek guidance and are truthful - then by Allah *we will get it*. I rarely comment but I did yesterday and it became a back and forth and I asked myself about my own truthfulness. How many have been guided but then get wrong intentions and then get misguided by it even if they are saying the truth. Let's check our intentions. Advice to myself first and foremost.
This religion doesn't need us we need it if we but knew. if we really had knowledge we would say very little and cry a lot but we say a lot and understand little. We claim the love of Allah in our hearts but say different with our mouths and actions.
The wisdom of our religion is so beautiful that if one was to try to enumerate the benefits of following our Sunnah and the people of the salaf we would tire before being able to name everything.
There has been a trend I have seen where some try to smear the names of those who call to the path of salaf by insinuating that they are the puppets of the government and get funded. They say it like they have won some kind of upper hand- as if its an evidence in the defense of their position. It baffles me because such people do not understand the epistemological ideologies being used by politicals at play. If they did they would be embarrassed to even mention something like this. If anyone knows anything about the western global political narrative and their hand in the global south and east they wouldn't dare say this. or do they have amnesia? The west has been at play in both Muslim and nonmuslim countries and they will align with whatever fits their need at that time - one of the strategies that are used is political coups to overthrow dictators that do not serve their interests any longer. Do I have to name examples? I think we all understand. Regime change is complex and has a ripple effect on global politics; its not just a simple change of power from one person to another person. Do we pretend that a lot of oppressive Muslim leaders have been put in place in or kept in place in part due to outside involvement and previous regime changes? Do we pretend that political overthrowing of a government is not in the playbook of the western narrative and those that say that its okay to overthrow Muslim rulers who are oppressive are actually more favored in the larger political arena and leaders who are in most cases the one feeding dictators? Do we pretend that billions of dollars have not been funded to Muslim groups who help overthrow stable governments in the name and campaign of oppression and liberty? Regime change has rarely been an organic occurrence of the people of the land but as history has shown time and time again just a small piece of a larger puzzle. or are we people of little understanding?
Here: The *argument** of regimes aligning with a part of the sunnah or not is not an indication of its truthfulness. We do not like a leaf to sway in any direction we are pulled by emotions. This is a distraction and a fallacy. The religion doesn't change because of time and place or circumstance but we hasten. The same Muslim leader that you claim loves the sunnii scholars because of their stance would hate them if they were the ones who were trying to get into power - as many are. if only we understood but we have little wisdom. And the ones that claim they can overthrow the Muslim leaders are loved, funded, and trained by outside forced to do political coups whenever they feel like it. Which is how they dominate. This is ONE of the greater harms. There is so much wisdom in not being able to ever throw your own leader and one of them is cutting off outside influence. Its a shield. a strong one. and if we actually ***had followed*** it we wouldn't be where we are now with the leaders who are in place today. we complain about the ones we have as if we didn't get them there with our actions and deeds and it's not enough we want worse ones actually. I am at owe at the wisdom of our religion walahi. How it knew of the political sphere of today and how it adapts even to today in protecting Muslim but we insist on disobeying. we insist on it.
This is not an argument - I just want those who are trying to learn just like I am to keep focus and when the truth comes to say we hear and obey and not sway or get pulled in by baseless arguments. We live in a time of "i think, I feel, it doesn't make sense to me" when we should be saying we hear and obey once we know its the truth and see the clear evidence.
We ask Allah for knowledge and understanding.
If only we could suffice ourselves with what sufficed the companions رضوان الله عليهم

Everyone seems to be refuting and bickering and this reply of the Shiekh may sway people away from the rest of the extremely beneficial knowledge this channel shares. Both brothers have something. For example Hajji is correct that rebellion against Faasiq rulers is allowed(evidence: Quran, sahaba such as Hussain r.a and ibn Zubayr).
However on akhlaq Abdulrahman is more correct. And sure there is other beneficial knowledge on this channel
@Ibrahim Ibn Mahmud I think what Bro Hajji has said has been quite conclusive. The two conditions the Ustadh made regarding Bay’ah and being from the high within society are completely new and not mentioned amongst the Salaf. Misquoting references and not even knowing certain people are Sahaba is quite shocking. I love Ustadh and take knowledge from him but Hajji was conclusive. May Allah guide us all to the truth.

IF the govt of the Muslim country the Sheikh is residing in is funding this decor and set then what is your issue? We know this is what you are trying to get to?
