  • Hi!! In this video I strictly focus on the Baby Bjorn Mini carrier, and how to assemble it. While it does come with its own set of instructions, I found it pretty difficult to do myself and actually get my baby in and out of the carrier the first couple of times. I hope you find this video helpful. Enjoy! :)

I’ve got given this carrier and love to use it with my new born around the house to get bits done :). What age/month would you say this carrier goes up to?

How awesome! I wish I would’ve used it more during the new born stage. I consider my son to be a bit of a chunky baby, so I only got about 4-6 months use out of it. But as a “mini carrier” I think it can/should be used up to 1 year old.

I would like to know how comfortable actually it is for you? I am so in between this and BabyBjorn Move because this doesn’t have a waist support. I’m a traveling mom so I am afraid this won’t be comfortable for longer walks.. Thank you!

Hi! I’m not familiar with the BabyBjorn Move, but I won’t recommend the BabyBjorn Mini for long walks. Personally, I would get tired carrying my son in this carrier around the house after a while, but his weight also plays a factor in that.

I have a bjorn from about 10yrs ago and it looks just like this ( it was a baby shower gift for my cousin that was handed down for me to use now with my 3mth old) but I find it gets uncomfortable (hurts the shoulders and back) for the wearer after the baby passes 12lbs… I also have my own personal ergo Omni 360 and I can wear that all day with no problems

I agree! Although I don’t have another baby carrier, I found that this one began to get uncomfortable pretty quickly.

Hello karina!! Lovely video very infirmative. How many weeks was your baby here? I tried using it on my 7 week old baby and I found it a bit uncomfortable for some reason.. her head is still a bit wobbly and so I didn’t know whether I had to adjust it tighter around the head or what number to put it on. She started crying May be because we’re not used to it?

Hi! My son was a little over 5 months in this video and we were only using the forward facing setting (his back facing me). For a baby at 7 weeks I believe you can only use it with baby facing your chest, and for that you’ll need the top portion of the carrier to be behind their head for support.

In the video, I show how to change the head setting at 4:20-5:20. I hope this helps!
