anyone else here after watching her show on Netflix? HOW AMAZING IS SHE! RIP STEVE!
Yes, me too :)
Watch the documentary!! It's 10/10
Having recently watched the doco about the death of her lover & all round amazing human Steve Keenan, I was shocked to see that all these years later his death clearly never affected her enough to take a break from setting records (even the following year). He’s the reason she learnt to dive how she did before she became the diver she is now. Many agree that there is something so narcissistic about her unnaturally competitive nature (to the point she’s unlikeable), HUGE ego, & not caring one bit about the community he was building, charity, helping others become like her, caring much for the safety teams risking their lives to protect her - all for an extra meter each year?
Steve made mistakes that day, but he still gave his life for hers, saved many others, & even prior to that, I never saw real love come back from her, just his. It wasn’t just Steve, it showed how full of fear her loving father is, how far does she have to take this, knowing if she gets hurt, meh, but all those who love / loved her, & have to constantly watch this never ending dream? It’s time to give back Alessia. I encourage everyone to watch The Deepest Breath & form their own opinion, but I don’t see much, if any, personal growth from her at all in the years since then. Just sad.
Rip Stephen forever ❤
What a remarkable human being.
Loved and adored by his peers.
Watched it 3 times just to see how much in love they were
Cried everytime 😢😢😢😢
Bravissima! Questo me lo ero perso... Mi hai fatto piangere, me la pagherai!
Ogni tanto nasce un essere superiore.... sei eccezionale Alessia
Time to stop diving and enjoy what life has to offer. Work in the field but not competitively. You reached your goal, remember someone will beat you eventually. Love yourself love life!😊
I wonder how long Alessia could hold her breath before she became a freediver and how much she improved after that.
She is such an inspiration
amazing...wow...🤘🤟👏👏👏👏
*Such an inspirational and incredible woman, athlete, and person in every way*
Rip Steven Keenan❤️❤️❤️

Is there a video anywhere with english translation?
Just switch on the autogenerated subtitles under settings to get the general gist.
yes! check it out, now the subtitles are available also in English
Meravigliosa
what is that music during the diving video? couldnt be a worst choice xD
small things like this shouldnt bug you enough to share it.
@@moulinyan I understand. I was not judging the speech, her career or story of life. I was just my feeling about introducing the presentation with a video, what I think is amazing, to bring people to that feeling of the freedive. That music have nothing to do with that feeling, so it just took out a big part of that experience.
Ocean eyes woulda been better
me cojoni...
