Bab' Linda Sibiya is an icon bafethu. Lapho he's selfless and he has always helped and praised his colleagues. Everytime I hear interviews from Ukhozi radio personalities, his name pops out. He has helped create radio careers. He's so secure in his talent. Linda Sibiya is radio himself. Simply a legend.
Bab'Mshengu is right kulento yoku recorder the shows. I understand that radio is evolving and everything is evolving with the strong presence of social media platforms but ezinye izinto do not need to be recorded. I understand where the interviewer is coming from uma ethi this thing of recording shows is helping the station and so forth, just like it's helping Gagasi but I believe that a show like Ikhaya Lokhozi is too intimate to be recorded. It's like a football match, u have to catch it that time idlala coz it's going to trend the next day and angeke isabamnandi coz u already know the results. I get him, his show is like getting iziyalo from an elder, that can't be recorded. It's just something u keep to to your heart. Nami I only go as far as recording ama spice but I enjoy the interaction he has with his listeners thru phone calls. Le eyama vn angiyithandi coz u can't have conversations via vns. It goes back to lento of radio evolving, it's necessary but it's a problem coz I've been noticing ukuthi he has been replacing phone calls with vns. Vns are are here to stay but there needs to be a balance btwn traditional radio and modern radio.
Thank you to the podcast for getting Dr Love for us. Siyabonga kakhulu🙌🙏🙌. The interview was a fresh of breath air. Loved the chemistry among the men. It actually ended too quickly for me, coz it was that refreshing. To me, the interview was everything as a night listener coz during the day I'm on my phone and doing other things. Siyabonga🙏

Mshengu has been left behind, I don’t see him doing radio in the next five years with this kind of attitude and ignorance, Internet will flush him down if he doesn’t get broader in terms of thinking. Podcast are important to sustain his voice and he should embrace evolution and push his employer to integrate all forms of communication.
