      This due to the random checks the system demands from a cashier, and they were thankful for me making it so easy for them to do it instead of taking it all our of the bag again.)

    Regarding suits, and I mean suits worn by men in this instance, when I was in Cancun the air was SO humid and uncomfortable. However, working men were still wearing long-sleeved shirts and suit trousers. They didn't have the blazer on, but my goodness! I'm sure they're acclimatised, but I almost felt 'trapped' on their behalf. Surely short sleeves and thinner material trousers would be acceptable by businesses, considering the climate. Us women are allowed to wear summer dresses/skirts/long shorts, sleeveless tops/shirts, and sandals in the summer, but it seems universally, men have to suffer business suits whatever the weather. It seems terribly unfair.

    1. I always felt that Asian people do smell less in general, at least here in Switzerland. We have a lot of tourists and when a bunch of American, UK, wherever people walk beside you, you smell the sweat and the car smell they sat in for the whole day. If Asians walk beside me, I usually smell nothing or decent perfume. My ex from Vietnam also didn't smell at all for me. I think it depends on the genes, of course the heat and what you work.
    I also like the self checkout very much. I only go to the cashier when I want to buy cigarettes or Alkohol. Or if I scrapped my last coins together to get something to eat, cause not every self checkout takes coin's..
    The thing with the nodding we also have in Europe, just slightly different. We do something like: oh an then? Hmm, I understand..Yes.. Hmm.. 😉

    Mine: I just arrived home to USA from Japan.
    I don’t like the xenophobic atmosphere. The prejudice and the rules for different peoples… a Us vs. Them mentality.
    Also, I went to Thailand after Japan. Everywhere in Thailand I went (store, restaurant, street food, etc…after greeting me “Sahwahdee Khaa” all the Thais could speak to me in English. But in Japan, extremely rare for any Japanese in the stores, markets, malls, restaurants (even in McDonald’s!), taxi drivers, train stations, etc… No English speakers! Even in the Kansai Airport, the workers spoke to me In Japanese! I’m a foreigner from America- a tourist! How is it the natives in a 3rd world country speak English (good English at that!) and in a 1st world country (Japan) Japanese don’t speak English?! To find is extremely rarely!) Thank goodness for Google translate! 😮😂

    • @JLeeladee
      @JLeeladee Před 15 dny

      I don’t like that people are not friendly on the streets, don’t talk to each other, don’t talk or whisper on the trains, don’t say “excuse me” etc… the Japanese have a very conforming society and everyone seems to fear of offending or doing the wrong thing and think subconsciously they are being “watched.” There is very limited interaction… I don’t like the 2-face Japanese culture (one in front of you and one in back)- & not freely expressing their true feelings. The people are rushing thru the train stations, the streets, etc… no friendliness, no smile, just looking stressed-out and in a hurry everywhere. It would seem difficult or take a long time to make really good / honest friends.
      One thing I do like- you can ride your bicycle to the store, go shopping, come outside and your bicycle is still there! I like the limited crime culture! 😊

    Bro. All the points you mentioned in this video might seem like problems to you because you are from Japan and I respect that. But in reality, Japanese people are best at behaviour, politeness, friendliness, and much more. Here in my country and also some other countries, sometimes we don't even have the necessary services available. Overwork is normalised in many countries. People maybe polite and may have good behaviour, but they are not as good as Japanese people. There is a reason why japan is also known for people with very good behaviour and politeness. Japan has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. Anyways, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Have a great day 👍

      1-You ignored my last sentence.
      2-How stupid can one be to presume that everybody who speaks English on social media is American? English isn't my vernacular language either, but someone who's uneducated as you, wouldn't know the difference.
      3-I replied to the account owner, Jin, not to you.

      How stupid are you? How are you going to tell me I ignored your last sentence? Do I have to acknowledge it? Go ahead and keep talking about how "uneducated" I am and see what happens. 7:17AM 11/4

      @@DoomIIMaster I stand by what I've said. I replied to Jin, not you. It wasn't meant to offend him but as an add-on.
      I shall reiterate these statements;
      1- Japan is my favorite country
      2-I'd like to point out that you don't have any critical thinking or the common sense to gauge the gist of my comment. In other words, an imbecile.

    Beauty products shouldn't be advertised
    I don't like suits either. Japanese should wear kimonos 😹

    Over here in New York city. There is an issue with overcrowding and stinky or dirty trains although it isn't really our issue. Rather the clowns who run our city like morons. No we don't have really a choice who runs it .

    How about protesting instead of complaining?
    Coz complaining through CZcams won’t fix these social issues specially those related to overwork or people’s recent behavior like smoking in public (which you didn’t even mention)
    Just one thing to mention, trains get stinky because of drunk people specially at night, it’s not a season problem, man.
