This one Animatic is quite special as it is mostly about Steven himself and his very own guilt toward what he did to Peter.

I am SO glad the DsaF fandom is starting to get original again. It was so sad to see the fandom slowly descend into just Davesport, but seeing something original after so long of the same is unironically making me cry, specially singe Steven is my favorite character. absolutely love this.

This is so insanely real, when dsaf was popular in 2020 it was even WORSE. I love when the Community pays their attention to other characters

This is exactly what I was missing from the ending of the third part. Steven is the most interesting character possible, he has motivations, he has fears, he is not a good person, but you understand why. In the third part, he wasn't even allowed to apologize to Peter. Surely, if before the battle with Henry the group had gone through at least one more level of Flipside, they would have at least had time to... talk about it, you know? I'm just in tears from your animatic, thank you very much!
I mean, there was a whole month in between peter and steven seeing eachother again and them fighting henry, so there was probably some unseen conversation there. (not to mention there could have been even MORE time inbetween it since time doesnt really work in the flipside)
I feel so bad for Steven, he legit went through so much. And not only was he scrapped after location 47 shut down, he was dismantled…
I have been STARVED of DSAF content bc nobody knows what it is. And then I find THIS.

Just wow. This is a masterpiece of an animatic. There is so much genuine emotion put into it and it really tells the usually funny story of DSAF and puts it into a genuine and tragic light. I adore this, fantastic job.

Peter is such an underexplored character, he lost his siblings, his family, his wife and for years he was stuck working just like the rest of them, his only comfort was the memories of a family that was never even his in the first place (and its implied he knows this, but holds onto it anyway because he HAS nothing else)
