I also have the pintler and like how sturdy it is when carrying a load with it, I'm now at the point in my life that I also have trekking poles to assist my balance, its made such a big difference.

Thanks for the video. I love my Pintler. At times I will not remove the tension straps [Guide light Frame does not have quick release like the NICE frame] but loosen them all the way out and slip the pack over the frame to load out. When hands are freezing or I am trying to speed the process this seems to help

Alric, I just received my pack and I'm trying to understand what you mean by slip the pack over the frame. Which tension strap are you referring to? Thanks

That's a cool shot of you walking down that ridge back at the end of the video. I have the exact same pack. I've packet out several animals with it, and cant say enough good things about the pack! love the show, I wish you had more episodes. Keep up the good work!!

What rifle sling do you have there. I like that under the arm carry. Can you show that method some time?

With all due respect go to an army navy store spend 30 bucks a bag by six of them and you’re still ahead of the game

I was in the military and this is simply not true. With a Pintler you can still access all your gear without taking the load out. You also can't separate your gear from your game unless you want to make a ton of trips. With a pro discount this bag is well worth the money.

No disrespect, but military gear is junk. The DOD awards the contact to the lowest bidder. The hiking and hunting world gear are leaps and bounds above military grade gear. Take care of your body and buy quality gear if you’re packing out game and other heavy loads. There’s a reason you don’t see military packs in the backcountry.
