In honkai impact there is a special type for only 2 characters, it's quantum but it has been introduced only in the 3.2 before that we didn't know so I think we can have a new element

It’s nice that Sayu and Gorou will be completing anemo and geo respectively, but I just wish we would get more geo and hydro characters in general. I don’t get how it’s fair that there’s 8 pyro (soon to be 10) and 7 cryo (soon to be 8) yet there’s only 4 geo and 4 hydro…

well anemo claymore and geo bow user are on their way unless they change goro weapon type. Baal is a polearm. so that's 3 out of the way.
what we need is different weapon types.
Dagger/Dual Blades
Fist/Gauntlets
Scythe/Axe
Gun
Baal might be both a *sword* user AND a *polearm* user. (similar to Childe.) I don't think that they will just show her wielding a sword, then dispose of it. (She will either change her weapon mid-combat like Childe, or use her sword as an ultimate.)

i remember going and making a grid thing for this but with genders and heights.
when i'd made this it was before 1.6. i'll leave out the elements cause thats just too much
so for kids we dont have
- claymore or polearm
- we currently just have one (pyro) catalyst, (cryo) bow and (cryo) sword
for teen (ish) girl height we have
- 2 polearm and claymore (both pyro polearms, one pyro claymore, one geo claymore)
- then 4 catalyst users (2 hydro, 1 pyro, 1 anemo)
- and 1 sword user which is actually just lumine so if you picked aether then it doesnt rlly apply (at the time of writing only geo and anemo)
for adult lady we have
- 2 claymores and catalyst (cryo and electro claymore, geo and electro catalyst)
- 1 sword and polearm (anemo sword, cryo polearm)
- no bow users
we all know there isnt a single male catalyst user so i wont mention it but other than that...
for teen (ish) boys we have
- 1 polearm and bow (anemo for each)
- 2 claymores (cryo and electro)
- 3 swords (ofc one of them is aether) (hydro, pyro, geo/anemo traveller)
and for adult guys theres
- one of each weapon type and all are different elements except electro (hydro bow, pyro claymore, cryo sword, geo polearm)
hopefully we get a male catalyst. baizhu looks promising in that case. ppl also say scaramouche could be a catalyst but i'm still not 100% on that one

I'm still waiting for a martial artist or brawler. I've always liked melee-type characters that just punch and kick around. I was kinda expecting one to show up in liyue knowing how chinese tradition works, but eh i can still hope for one in the future. They already have made a similar character from honkai and her name is fuhua so hopefully they'll be able to implement that archetype into genshin as well.
Im pretty sure mhy will add new weapons types over time, we just have to wait. Personally, I want scythes wielders and brawlers in the game ☆_☆
