- For this installation on a Volvo XC-90, we show you how we programed the 21 pushbutton controller of a WHELEN HHS4200 to work with the FEDERAL SIGNAL Rumbler as well as an external WHELEN WeCan siren amp that acts as a second siren
The fact that they've ordered a Volvo is amazing! Greetings from Volvo's home country, Sweden!
@@minus_zero Another Swede here. It's a shame, volvos used to be high-quality. Volvo trucks are still made in Sweden though, those are reliable.
I believe that people like you don’t get enough recognition and respect. I respect you wholeheartedly! You make vehicles that save people’s lives and I feel you deserve more respect
Holy hell. Mechanical with rumbler just sounds otherworldly.
3:23, those are actually two sirens of which one was used and of which one is being used by the Dutch police force. Nice video!
"The Howl- Rumbler" *Federal Signal joins the chat: You had it right the first time.*
I've got to get one of those for my carriage. I used to have all the lights, sirens, and controls back in the days of sealed beam rotating lights. This LED stuff if CRAP but that siren is awesome. Better than anything I ever had.
Rotor lights you should check out the Whelen LED version of roto beams they look amazing they're LED but they flash in a pattern to mimic tators
3:16 sounds scary but it’s cool
@Leland Nicholas lol
DUDE MECHANICAL SOUNDS SO COOL!!
Would love to see more like these
We will try our best
Those hi lo sirens sound nice!
This is freaking awesome.
Is the dual tone toggle a wiring set up or programmed via the software?
Needs a 2nd speaker, external dual siren amplifier ( required for dual tones ) and can be programmed with Whelen Command software.
Correct
@@drunkpolice thanks
3:23 i would use for my pop/kpop remixes
I very like Bowler siren
3:16 my favorite ⚫🔴⚫
scary moment
Sounds very ominous
Why you does'nt install the Whelen Howler? For Hi-Loni would use the Swiss Police or Italia Police Signal. Is much better.
the sirens labeled "alarm and "hi-lo" are very common in the netherlands.
Is there some unique programming done in terms of the rumblers timer? Is the HHS4200 reactivating the rumbler automatically each time its timer runs out so that it essentially is always on when the button is on?
Wow I love it
That alarm siren sounds more like a techno party.
Excellent Outfit!
hey is there a chance you guys can do this to my 2020 ford explorer? i want all amber, with a siren speaker. but i’m gonna be storm chasing.
Didnt expect to find you here.
@@Critical911 Lol, i’m also into this stuff. this is my second channel!
You think in the next vid you could do an updated version of the mech, aux, etc with dual tone and rumbler off, like you did with the wail, yelp and prio?
Why do you use the federal rumbler instead of a whelen howler?
Energy save mode? Geez the captain must be saving a fortune on his light bill now 😌😌
Dude, it's not about money saving.
It's about not killing your battery
I didn’t even realize that was a cop car lol
omg this is science
Awesome
So cool 😚👍
Is that off one speaker or two for the dual tone?
Wheres the power call
nice, now i can fck around with my cop car
How many siren speakers are you using in total? Two or four excluding the rumbler which I would assume is two
In this particular install, 1 speaker for the main siren amp and 1 speaker for the secondary siren amp. Just know that each amp is capable of handling 2 speakers.
Nice
Is there a way to turn off the button lights? They’re incredibly bright and distracting at night. The “blackout” button on mine just dims it slightly
Yes, it can be done in programing.
If the customer requested to wire it in, we can also set the backlighting to full brightness during the day, and dim at night.
so is it a 100 watt then 200 watt with duel tone?
I have a quick question let’s say you have the Fenix 4200 mini can you program other siren tones on it like Whelen or Federal Signal?
4200 mini does not have a siren output
@@Code1Solutions what’s a siren out put? I saw a video of some guy with whelen tones on it so I was wondering
Please do video about 4200 or 4206, that would be great
Coming soon
How did you get the dual tone?
He's using the Whelen WeCan External Amplifier with the HHS4207's WeCan port. Allows for dual tone.
@@northernlightsandsirens4230 thank you!
This whelen have a dual tone?
Yes, it does
Where do you live please respond
Its 4207 with 21 Pushbutton. With Rotary Knob it’s 4206, and only with handheld it’s 4200 😉
I believe handheld is 4205
@@Code1Solutions Handheld is 4200
@@Code1Solutions there is not any 4205
Can you have 2 different tones at once
Yes. You can hear it
Because where do they use volvos as police cars
Where are you guys located?
We are located in Queens, NY
Puissance en watt ici ??

Julio sauldo
police s90? wtf
Algum Brasileiro ??
Isn’t it illegal for a citizen or private company to have lights and sirens on there car, or I’ve just never seen a Volvo police car (yes I know they have them in Europe)
Depending on the state it’s legal. Also this Volvo I’m pretty sure is made for a hospital in NYC that uses unmarked emergency vehicles.
@@sirendude this is definitely some NYC shit 🤣🤣
SAD!
