    📄 ABOUT ME:
    My mission is to help you grow your career, especially in the world of data analysis. Switching careers to become a data analyst from a non-tech background was overwhelming. I made a lot of mistakes and wasted time trying to figure it out. But having been a manager of data analytics and now a senior business intelligence engineer in tech (FAANG), I've learned a lot and I'm excited to use my experiences to help you navigate your career path. I hope this channel gives you the clarity and motivation to get started!

    Great video. Question: Would strengthening one’s math skills be beneficial as a data analysis? Is calculus beneficial for this profession? Btw: I loved the example you used in this video.

    • @dareemmanuel6079
      @dareemmanuel6079 Před 5 měsíci

      Calculus isn’t needed like 99% of the time. Maths and statistics are definitely beneficial as you’ll need to develop KPIs and different metrics to convert the raw data into actionable insights

    • @user-el9bi7xj7p
      @user-el9bi7xj7p Před 6 měsíci +1

      No need to leave main job.. You need to consider a data set example from your existing domain and make a transition..
      For example, I have seen doctors are working as Data Analysts who are analysing the data related to Healthcare industry..

      Hey! If this is a complete career shift and you like structured leaning and networking then grad school is a good idea. But if you are good at self study and have the time to commit then i would say go the self study route
