I have tried about 20 different alcoholic drinks (and ended up just chugging them all to not waste) but after the first small sip of each I could tell I hated it. I have tried all sorts of drinks from super sweet cocktails to whiskey and everything in-between (and I have stolen first sip of a bunch of beers). After a while I figured out it's not the taste of alcoholic beverages I don't like, it's the back of the throat burn, and when I learned the cause of that burn is the same thing that makes food spicy... and I can't handle hot food whatsoever and avoid eating it entirely when possible.
