  • in this video i compare Supacolor Wearable transfer vs Supacolors new DTF transfer. i had the same design printed on both transfers and i show a side by side of what they both look like pressed on a t shirt. in this test i notice the print quality and clarity are the same but the SupaDTF feels a little softer on the shirt.

    Brandoh I appreciate this video man! I placed my first Supacolor wearable order today off your recommendation! I bought a commercial property in my hometown's downtown area this time last year and started a shop making hometown merch (the Brandoh play). It's been great and now I'm expanding my brand online, getting my Shopify set up (used your site to let thr guy know how clean I wanted it) and about to jump in the hashtags to drive traffic to my new Instagram when it's finished! I can't thank you enough for keeping it real always pumping out dependable relatable content. I'm in the game and growing because of you!

      Which transfer would you suggest for a lighter shirt geared for working out? Cotton and a dry fit short? Thank you for the info.

      @@igotmyphotos Wearable will work just fine on a cotton and 100% poly white and light colored shirt!
      Just note that Blocker would be needed for colored polyester drifits and patterned poly shirts to prevent color from migrating into the print :D

    I have used some SupaDTF. It is ok. But I found for small prints, like on a sleeve or neck, cold peel can be helpful with it. Otherwise I have had stuff try to peel weird while hot. Even on big ones I find hottish peel works better. On top of that really small ones I was getting occasional sticking of the film to my press and getting a jacked peel. Heat tape fixed it for the little guys. For me Wearable is still king. It works so reliably and no messing. Price is not a whole lot different. I have done some 22x24inch sheets. I need to do some really big sheets to see if I can save money.

    I agree with your sentiment about SupaDTF! What I like is that we're close to them in LA so if I need a quick roll of DTF I can get it in like 2-3 days MAX. I don't have to wait 5 days or pay express shipping with another company out of state. Still not the biggest fan of DTF for my personal project or brand but I know a lot of people can benefit from it so more power to them 💫

    Love the videos man, I recently got a sample from Supacolor for their Wearable transfers and I wasn't really pleased with the quality (clear glue outline on design, felt kinda like a sticker, etc.) but I'm guessing the samples they send are perhaps not the same as the actual transfers they send when I place an order because the quality looks much better just from seeing them in your videos. I really appreciate your honesty and the time you take to break these products down.

    • @Supacolor
      @Supacolor Před 2 měsíci

      Hey Supafam! The outline you're seeing on the Wearable will be standard on all screen-printed and any of our hybrid-printed heat transfers. A post-press instantly takes care of the outline and locks the artwork into your garment!

    Hi Big Branduh, it's better to cold peel for the SupaDTF

  • @user-mg5dl9jy1v

    The only downside of wearables are those glue outlines. Overtime, it will show like extra lines. Best to use it on lighter colored shirts.

    Hey Big Brandoh! Have you tried the LoMelt film from Supacolor? I have and I have a hard time with the hot peel, it requires you to "instantly" remove the film, otherwise, you make a mess (in my experience with 250 pieces

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  Před 2 měsíci +5

      i dont use heavy weight shaka. i use shaka active. best way to find the differences in blank shirts, is to buy one of each in your size, and wear them, press on them, wash them etc... dont base your decisions off what people like me say on youtube. when it comes to blank shirts, its all based on fit and feel. that cant be felt thru the screen. you have to physically touch it to know what you like and dont like.
