On the Monday fasting, I have always agued that, the Noble Prophet (SAW) used it as a remembrance (celebration) of his birthday. If anyone is saying that he (SAW) did not mark is birthday, that person is not being sincere. What he (SAW) did not celebrate was his birth date which comes up once a year while birthday comes up every week. Note that DAY and DATE are different.
Secondly, the Hadith on being a Kufar for not observing Jumu'ah three consecutive times, needs scrutiny. What if a Muslim is Genuinely incapacitated to attend Jumu'ah three consecutive times?
