I have this obsession with unboxing. I like to watch the video's but I also just like buying games for the unboxing. Sadly not a lot of my friends come to play the games, so it's hard to justify the purchase to my wife. I love these unboxing video's becuase they satisfy that urge. I also really enjoy the sing song unboxing with this video :) The guides on the EOG site are amazing and incredibly helpful to these games!

If you read the first advertisement page you would have noticed that Luke and Vader were included as a bonus (also written on the back of the box)

I was hesitant on buying the game and now I'm interested in getting it. Thank you.

My idea of a really great Star Wars board game would be centralized around the Clone Wars with the title just being Star Wars The Clone Wars and it comes with two armies, The Galatic Rebublic and CIS. This game is meant to be a table top war game so each army should have around a good 32 minuature set with around 6 different leaders some being Obi Wan, Anakin Skywalker, Captain Rex for the Rebublic and for the CIS General Grievous, Count Dooku, and Darth Maul. Some units that the Rebublic will have are a group of Clone troopers, two X-Wings, Heavy Clone Troopers (equipped with rockets and minguns), Arc Troopers, Commandos, Sniper Clone Troopers, and Jet Pack Clone Troopers. For the CIS they will have some regular Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, Commando Droids, Magna Guards, two CIS droid bombers, Heavy Battle Droids, and Sniper Droids. It will also include a battle mat and some dice for the players to use during their Skirmishes. Another thing that I would love to add is some ability cards (inspired from Star Wars Battlefront 2) that allow you to buff up your troops during the heat of battle that also has a level up system that makes your army stronger and stronger as the match progresses. The last thing I would like to see is the pricing. I know that this set comes with a lot, but I am not one of those money hungry beast that have to drive away so many new war gamers away because of their pricing model. I would call this box set with everything a good $72 with all the miniatures pre-assembled. Each army would be roughly $36 each which would be much more reasonable for new coming players. And if you want to continue to expand your army you can buy additional expansions with other eras including in them such as a Star Wars Return of the Jedi box set which is around the same price but instead comes with characters like Luke, Layla, Solo, and Lando as leaders for the Rebels and Darth Vader, The Emporer, Tarkin, and Bona Fett being leaders for the Empire. It would come with era related troops like Strom Troopers, etc.
    List of box sets:
Star Wars The Clone Wars $72
Star Wars Return of the Jedi $72
Star Wars The Force Awakens $72
Star Wars The Old Rebublic $72
Star Wars Villian Box Set $24
Star Wars Heroes Box set $24
(Both hero and villian box sets just comes with leaders and some additional troops and cards from each box set)
    Expansion Sets
    Star Wars Rouge One $56
    Star Wars Bounty Hunters $34
    Star Wars Clone Troopers $24
    Star Wars Animals $20
    (You know Wampas, etc.)
    Star Wars Vehicles $76
    (AT AT, Speeders, etc)
    Star Wars Terrian pieces $24
    Star Wars Battle Mats $36
    Star Wars Ability Cards $15
My whole point is that their isn't enough Star Wars board games I mean good ones that have long lasting expansions and over all are just fun.
I also want to put out that miniature board games are getting ridiculous in price with minaitures being way over priced with most box set miniatures not even coming assembled and you have to assemble them yourself with glue and they are still expensive.

Would you mind making a Star Wars rebellion joy of unboxing vid? I'm cracked deciding which one to get... Rebellion or imperial assault... Both sounds equally as good :)

+cheong yung I definitely will - if I buy it! They're two very different games: miniatures skirmish game and big strategy boardgame.

Will you do a playthrough of this game?

I tend to do playthroughs of two-player games as multiple-player videos are beyond my resources at the moment. Lots more battle reports on the way, and maybe a 2-player skirmish game of this will be among them if there's time.

I haven't played yet! But don't worry, the EOG has a rules summary and reference sheet that makes things easy.
