that ferrari looks incredible ,people who dont collect diecast dont understand but just one look at that picture and i want that diecast its incredible ,for me and i only speak for myself on this but i always think a silver or bare metal car shows off the lines or the details of the car better than any other color

I still have my batman diecast cars both scales and the bat wing from Ertl from my childhood! I'm 38 this month I got them when I was 8 or 9! Alot of these I had as a kid in your video's I love to see them they click the memory bank right back to the childhood days! Love it!

2 weeks after the event and i stumble on someone having made a video of this convention, and it's you! I was there myself but would have *easily* missed this convention. Strap yourself in, this is gonna be a long comment.
The day before, i managed to track down a diecast store (Gimic Autominiaturen) that had a WRC spec Skoda Fabia from 2005 (the Fabia is a very special car to me) wich i REALLY wanted for my small but humble collection (with my haul from the entire weekend counting at 11). You should visit that store if you get the chance.
Anyway, at checkout we got talking and he mentioned this convention wich is litterly a stone's throw away from where i live. Then, on sunday, i managed to get my dad (who recently got into watching F1 after Ive been doing it again for 5 years now) to go with me. Upon arrival, he was shocked to see so many diecasts packed in a small area while i was in sheer modelcar heaven, ready to scan around for my next additions! We arrived there in the first 30min-1h of the con.
We took a big look around and here and there i recognized some models and variations of the ones i owned. I even saw stuff i didn't expect they made models of (Renault 5 turbo that raced in IMSA and was responsible for the HANS device wich im now determined to get). I thought it was important to take everything in and let the adrenaline settle before i went bonkers with buying, and it's good i did.
One stand in particular would become the MVP and absolute legend of the con. A guy called Cedric and an elder friend had a stand with one very particular car that i would never expected to see in person after knowing it exists : a 1/43 (i only collect this scale) team need for speed BMW Z4 GT3. This car Came from my favorite racing game, ever. The owner said i could take a look at it, and then i started talking about the car itself and where i know it from. This chat turned into a long, interesting discussion with him about racing, diecasts and the stories behind the cars. He even had 2 stratagraph camaros that raced at le mans, cars so obscure, i only learned about them 5 days before the con, and they made models of it! He complimented me saying that he was happy seeing a youngster like me (i'm just 22) being this passionate about racecars diecasts and telling their story. He even had the power to flex on me that he owned 2 of one very specific racecar i'm willing to sell a kidney for : a 2010 sumo power Nissan GTR that raced in GT1 and is made by Ebbro. He understood the pains of getting Ebbro models shipped to Europe. Later on, he gave me his email to contant him if i was interested in a special offer for my birthday as in that weekend, the 24hrs of Spa will be held and he is friends with the marshalls and some of the mechanics of the team so he might have a way to give me the best birthday present ever!
Later on, i stumbled on someone going around this Silver/grey F40... Well now i know who it was 😅 I've only seen some of your content but that would have been another interesting encounter that day. Only 5 meters away 🤣
At the end of the day, i went home with said Z4, a 2008 WRC spec subie Impreza and a 2017 caddilac DPi car (allthough i realized to late i could have held of from the caddy and subie, and get the renault instead). It was a great day overall and i'll deffinatly visit another convention in the future!

I built one of them f40 from the magazine issues 2 years ago! 1.8 scale the detail is incredible! The seats in it stunning! The who build was amazing took nearly 2 years to collect the issues to built it! They'll be expensive mine was over a Grand!

Dude, those Ferrari F40 1/8 scale die cast cars have to be thousands of Euros. Those are so nice. Were they Exoto, Kyosho or some other brand?

56:40 Hot Wheels letter getter 1979, found two of them in a thrift store in Finland last year!

GT spirit do a similar F40 in 1.18 scale that's about 2k cheaper than the 1.8 scale I have but still an amazing model!
Pinifarina on Ferrari F40 stand it’s not a brand. It’s the name of legendary car designer Battista Pinifarina.

Unfortunately not.. I asked for information but they only sell at diecast events. What did you see?
Corgi James Bond DB5 in gold and in silver 1:43 scale. Also some of the other bits and pieces on the stand look interesting. Thanks for the reply.
