Zach Blair (the guitarist) participated in the last scream. When Tim transitions into smooth vocal, Zach kept going.

man, he sounds like his voice is tired and weary, but I like the rough edge he has here. :)

I always wanted to see them live, but I haven't been able to afford to go to a show yet. From what I've seen on a lot of live youtube vids, his voice is usually pretty crisp and smooth. Not a bad quality, But I loved his old voice :)
