why is watching reagan eating a burger in the 80s the most satisfying thing to watch?

All natural beef. Hearty and wholesome. Now the burgers are thinner and injected with sodium and msg for flavor

the McDonalds is still standing in Northport on the way to the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport where he was most likely heading after, it's been renovated a few times over since the 80s, but has a plaque and photo of that day on the wall.

I wonder what that little girl thinks now... it was a lovely moment with her mother saying, 'you address him as Mr President...' And the little girl did... and he shook her hand too.
I wonder if she remembers it.

Sam Donaldson’s shouted questions were always annoying and intended to trigger Reagan. The effect backfired as the president played him like a base fiddle, gaining more support from the viewing public. Less than a month after this video was taken, Reagan won a historic 49 state landslide victory for reelection.
