Finally!! An interview from someone who didn't go into a creative career from the time they were 3 years old! It takes time to discover yourself and it's okay to shift into different careers. Hi!! Although its already 2 years ago comment I wanna say that I could relate to him.😊😊 From a literal seaman who do things the seaman does, not the cruise ship works huh?? But a seaman of merchant marine with those cargoes talaga with all the hardworks bu then shifted also to Fashion industry. ❤❤ And here I am,Starting my fashion designer dreams since 2022. Its hard to start from scratch since im not into a creative,artsy world and course but passion drives me most and prayers to lead me to the people maybe that I needed. Have joined local fashion shows for 3 times already and clients is starting to pour around the corner but still a very long way to go. Malayo pa ang lalakbayin pero mai nasimulan narin.❤❤❤😊😊😊
"it's not about getting there, it's about how long you can stay and how much further you can go"
This. As simple as it sounds, the reality is it wasn't easy. It took me sometime to realize na ang tunay na kalaban mo, ay yung sarili mo. Kasi after you get there, ang tunay na laban ay how would you stay, how would you keep up and how much further can you go mula dun sa getting there stage mo.
This is so inspiring🥺❤️. He’s right. If anyone would want to build his business, he should be able to sacrifice his leisure time to work-out the things for his business. 💯
The huge difference of his status now as a designer from his past profession,,,, WOW! I didn't even know that he was once a pro car racer!🤯 I love his story, it's so inspiring.
Mark answers Heart's questions really well and you can feel his sincerity in every answer.

This is such an eye-opener, Heart! What we see in fashion shows and Instagram feeds is just a surface from all the hard works of the people behind it making it all possible. Mark is really candid and his business acumen has really propelled his business to greater heights.
I love it when your doing interview Ms. Heart , specially when it's about fashion not showing glamour but also the reality of hardwork that's done in it, a big thumbs up for Mark Bumgarner, i like his designs.
Some are just born with natural talent and they don't necessarily need to study they just hone the skill. Fashion is really for him.

I used to dream myself being a designer before when I was younger but realizes that fashion isn't only about the talent, I started to overthink what ideas, concept that I'll gonna do cause I'm bad at conceptualizing. One day I just found myself unwilling to do things I used to enjoy. Now being an arts and design student, I should have a goal but I don't. Feels like I'll be stuck. This kinda motivates me but I can't let go of my worrying
Same here, being in the medical field really burns you out and you find that the passion you once had is now the very thing you loathe. Take things slowly, even if you aren't up to speed with your motivation. Sometimes we just need to put out something and the motivation will follow. Laban lang! I know you can make it!
not to glorify the sleepless nights and the amount of anxiety just to beat deadlines, the feeling of fulfillment after is amazing! it's what makes you feel alive, and when you move on to a different work cycle you tend to find that adrenaline rush, that exciting feeling and you'll never be the same.
He seems very humble. You can feel the sincerity in his word when he is speaking. I hope you grow more and go as far as you wanna go.
It's look like this independence day, will be the day of giving my dog a freedom. He's not doing well, and now he's suffering too much. It's look like he will resting in peace today. He's been with me for 5 years. But I'm still hoping he'll be fine soon. :)

Hello Heart! Wow, ang galing naman ni Mark! From a Multi-awarded Racer to a Marvelous Designer! At totoo nga yung sinabi niya, hindi nga madaling maging Designer. You have to get into the nitty-gritty of your design before you show your output or your finished product to your client or prospective clients. Lalo na kung ang client mo ay very particular at very meticulous sa design na pinapagawa niya. You have to look at every detail of your work design if it is being done exactly what the client wants it to be done. It is a laborious job (especially if you have no assistants or helpers to help you create your design). And that's the reality (at nakakaawa yung ganon). Mark may able to make glamorous designs and post it on social media, pero hindi nila alam kung gaano kahirap gawin ang bawat detalye para mabuo lang niya at ma-accomplish ang isang masterpiece. At nakakaproud siya. So happy ako sa kanya kasi hindi lang siya magaling na Racer, magaling din siya na Designer. And so happy din ako kasi your close friends pala who are both talented in your crafts. Just keep up the Good Work coz I'm both proud of you especially that both of you are humble and kind. Have a blessed Independence Day to both of you!🥰

I heard nga that some designers ay walang respeto kay Mark kasi parang instant yung popularity nya, ni hindi daw marunong tumahi. Pero yung taste nya sa fashion dahil narin sa exposure at being well traveled siguro, mahirap yun pantayan, super class. He's my favorite designer here in the Philippines ❤️

Independence day...I'm working that time. But, it embodies the freedom of making good choices and work with integrity... Love the fashion interview. Regardless of when you realize your passion for something, as long your mindset aim for it. Sometimes you discover other passion, by learning from helping out, those you are exposed and you see yourself liking it and loving eventually.
One of my fave content of Ms. Heart, thank you so much for this. I love how they highlighted that it’s not only the glamour that we see in pictures and social media being in the fashion world is a lot more than that. I want to be in the industry as well but I’m not sure if I can do the work.
