+Paul Day he asked about the Oscar recognition of the films he had this year this, Legend, and Mad Max. Hardy answered very directly and the interviewer was thrown, Tom then threw him a bone and the interviewer still bumbled his words about for a bit. Slightly awkward.

weird how leo was given an oscar in a film where he barely even talks. tom hardy was so good at this character, i didn't even realize it was him until after the movie was over.

I love that he said it wasn't that harsh/cold during this shoot in Canada. He mentions Siberia, I'm assuming he shot Child 44 there. After Siberian conditions everything else must feel like spring weather.
He did do an episode of Driven to Extremes for Discovery Channel. I'm certain that was in Siberia.

I am so glad he mentioned some snowing time and not some snowing time. I noticed that. But I will you tell, I did not care for the movie, but I cared deeply for every single scene he was in. I say this not for the massive crush I have on him, but because the character he created was incredibly interesting. I really think the roles should have been reversed between him and Leo, but what a good job he did.
Tom is a great actor. And adorable. Even when he's scratching himself for the entire interview. :)

I live where this movie was filmed and I can say the weather here is absolutely crazy. it changes every single day, even every few hours we have drastic changes

I thought one of the more interesting lines of the film was when Fitzgerald was nonchalantly telling Glass that yeah, here it is, here's your revenge, whoop de doo, it won't bring your son back. Glass was like hmm, yeah, he does have a point there. But let's just finish this business seeing as I've already got the hatchet out. It has echoes of Ahab and Moby Dick.

It's EXTREMELY easy to tell who's the bad guy and the good guy. Tom Hardy's character kills the son....... he steals the money from the safe..... he leaves Leo's character for dead.. c'mon TOM!
