Grabe the lyrics is insane what a song
I was there during Pagtatag Finale Day 2 and I got goosebumps when Stell started belting those high notes.
He was a bit nervous during Day 1 and cried at the end of the song while hugging Maestro Louie Ocampo. But he got his confidence back and he was more relaxed on Day 2.
Pablo wrote this in 2020 and recorded a demo. It was equally beautiful.
So the lyrics is painful. The last phrase came out as a surprise “kahit hindi mo batid” in English is “even if you dont know”
The lyrics revolve about a person doing everything for someone that he/she will sacrifice to give up something from himself/herself for that person. So the phrase “kahit hindi mo batid” was not repeated in the lyrics, it was only said in the very last part to cause more pain.
When u said the note “was like a caress” even if you dont know the lyrics, it is. this proves how genius Pablo is when it comes to song writing coz he will make you feel the meaning of the song even w/o knowing the lyrics because its the point of the song. Its like you have this person you love so much u treat her/him like he is so precious, like a glass, that has a high value that u will make everything for it to shine more that u will be afraid to stain it or leave a mark- thats the meaning of the song.
Anino is shadow. The more light, the brighter it gets, shadows tend to disappear but darkness also erase the existence of a shadow. Its the word play of the lyrics and Stell made all the lyrics bleed. When Pablo sang it, its sad when Stell sang it, its painful.

I have so many comments here. Gosh! It's because Stell is so amazing. Stell singing this makes me tear up every time I listen to it.
For me, this song started off as a pledge of love, support and sacrifice to a loved one. Until it got to the last line that basically says I’ll do all of these for you even if you’re unaware. Then it hit me that it’s a song of a fan to his/her idol - loving from afar. Stell’s voice is like a lullabye. It gently rocks you to sleep. ❤
During the last two chorus he do crying alredy while hitting the note... amazing stell,its rare to witness this scene...stell is superhuman...❤️

Anino in english is shadow. The song is about Unconditional, selfless love. It could also be about loving in secret or in the shadow's, thus the title "anino"; so much love that the person in the song is willing to give everything even her/his shadow away just to see her/his love shine. Even if it's not acknowledged, even if he/she is being hidden in the dark, the person in the song says, she'd/he'd still open his/her arms for her love and profess that he/she will love the other person undyingly forever.

It was so crazy live it was so quiet with except for some I love yous. The melodic haunting sound fills the coloseum. Ken came in earlier with a surprising emotional song Kanako accoustic version so it was a simultaneous wave of emotion for us.

just to give a little idea, the one who is talking (singing) is a person who tries to be strong and holds up his need of affection time after time from his lover, just so she can live her dream and/or ambition. as to whatever holds them back from loving freely, it's up to the listener. normally, pablo's song writing intends to let the listeners have their freedom to interpret them however they want.. as for me, though, i think it's more of a POV of an ordinary person who happens to have romantic relationship with a matinee idol.
This is one difficult song to tackle. But Stell is up to the challenge and nailed it.
