Thank you for making this video! This is very helpful for beginners dog groomer. Sometimes i don't know what to do so I shaved the dog really short on the body and the legs😣

Beautifull job! A way I use to save lenght on matted dogs, depends on the mats, is to line brush a little bit with a brush spray. Then I bath the dog and use a conditioner from Best Shot. Then with the velocity dryer I work to not just dry the dog but to break out the mats with the power of the air. Has to be done with a powerfull velocity dryer to work. But as I said. It depends on the kind of matting, amount of hair, and if the dog is good with the hvd or not, cus if I know the dog is not ok with the hvd then I preshave and it is what it is in therms of lenght 😅. People say "dont wet a matted dog cus makes the mats worse!" Well. This is if you just wet the dog and do nothing after it, but Im removing the mats after it so is ok 😊.
